The ocean/bay view from this home was breathtakingly beautiful. When you walk into the living room or upstairs room, you get a spectacular of the ocean from Dillon beach all the way to Bodega head. A very relaxing home with a fully functional kitchen, nice deck, hot tub with ocean view and sauna!<br/>(a slight problem with the tv working, though a very nice lady from Wine country came and fixed the problem)

The property was a perfect fit for a weekend getaway. The space was nice, the hot tub was well maintained and perfect for relaxing in the evening. Bedrooms, kitchen, and living room space was set up nicely. This would be great location for two couples or a small family. <br/><br/>Just a few considerations and minor improvements about the location. <br/><br/>The living room fireplace was not working which was a bit of a bummer as the central heating is a little underpowered especially for a winter visit. Upstairs bedroom fireplace was functioning and it made that space really cozy. <br/><br/>The house is located high up on the hillside which is perfect for views but if you were planning on walking down to the beach, it is a hike. They do offer a parking permit that you can use to get closer to the beach but I have a feeling that space will get filled up quickly during the warmer seasons. Just consider this if you're booking this as a "beach" location, it's more of a view location.<br/><br/>On our last night, we were woken up to the carbon monoxide detector going off at midnight. We called the emergency phone number and they picked up right away and gave us instructions. We called the fire department out and they identified a faulty water heater. We told the management company and requested a late check-out due to the inconvenience. They granted an hour extension but that was it because of guesting coming in after us. I get that it's a business but it would have been nice to get a small credit considering the nightly rate. So it goes. <br/><br/>Overall, very happy with the stay and the professionalism of the management company. Clean accommodations, nice house, hot tub, parking, pool table, and couches to relax on.

Our 10 day sty at the BeachNest in Dillon Beach, California, was wonderful! Communication with the hosts from Wine Country to Coast was clear and helped us prepare for the trip and they were very friendly and responsive during our stay. The property has a gorgeous view, unique architecture, and many wonderful amenities. The view from the spotless hot tub cannot be beat. The clear fence around the perfect deck makes the view unbelievable and provides wind protection. We had many laughs around the foosball and pool tables. Walks from the property are wonderful. The place would be perfect if some of the easy maintenance issues I mentioned to the management were addressed (many dead lights upstairs to the point that it was dark at night, not enough lighting to read or play games at night downstairs, dishwasher door broken, broken blind and gate, smelly bathroom sink). Management was very interested and kind when I mentioned these issues at the end of our stay and when I admitted that my nervous dog had an accident when he entered the house. I felt good that they would probably address the maintenance issues. If they did, the place would be perfect.

Overall it was a great stay. The weather was not cooperative so our view was subpar but we enjoyed the amenities of the pool table, fooz ball table and hot tub.

We had an amazing time. The view was incredible. I had questioned getting a place that wasn't walking distance to the beach, but the view, especially from the hot tub, was worth it. The house was easy to get around and extremely clean. After all the fees it was pretty pricy, but the house met all our expectations.

Wow, what an incredible property. Amazing views, super quiet area, abundance of wildlife. Full kitchen and BBQ grill, so it was super easy to relax, cook and get away from it all. This home has the best view and liked how private the deck was. We highly recommend and would definitely rent again. When entering front door, you are greeted by an actual birds nest. The downside was the front walkway needs to be cleaned thoroughly.

This vacation at Dillion’s Beach was very relaxing, the place had great views from the living room and the deck. The hot tube was a great place to relax in and look at the stars. The Foos Ball table got its share of attention due how I love to play the game. A overall Great place to take the family!!

This beautiful home is located on a very quiet street. The furnishings were exceptional and comfortable. Everything one needs to "be at home" when not at home. The ocean view from the living room is stunning. And the ocean view from the upstairs bedroom is even more stunning. The property managers were so lovely to deal with and wanted to insure our every need. The house and property are so lovely and clean. The beds are very comfortable. We brought all our own food and stayed in to cook, read and relax with no chores or critters to look after - Ahhhhhh

Fantastic overall experience in a spectacular location. Only constructive feedback is need for better mattresses and a king size bed in master suite -there is plenty of room for it and would enhance the experience.<br/>Excellent service by the Wine Country to Coast team - BBQ that was not working was replaced immediately<br/>Would definitely recommend and will be coming back for sure!

We had a truly incredible retreat-like experience staying here. We did all of our grocery shopping on the way there which allowed us to enjoy every moment of being at the home. The hot tub is really nice along with the bathtub upstairs. Views are amazing and we loved using the grill for our meals. Everything was extremely clean and the property management company was great at communicating the cleaning standards which we appreciated more than ever during this pandemic time. Overall it is a very relaxing place and we would definitely go back for a future visit!

There are so many little things that make staying in this home a special experience. Waking up to the sounds of seabirds soaring through the fog is a such a magnificent way to start each day. The house is very uniquely designed, was comfortably large enough for our group and offers beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. There is also an abundance of wildlife in the area, so we saw plenty of deer while we were there.<br/><br/>The owners were easy to contact and helpful, we had no problems with them. <br/><br/>I would strongly suggest bringing some warm clothes. The high elevation of the property combined with fog and wind coming from the ocean makes for some very cold sitting on the patio outdoors.

Went for a girls weekend and we were completely satisfied. The house was clean and beautiful. The views and outdoor space (including hot tub) were amazing. This house did not disappoint. We loved the personal touch of the free goodies at check-in. We will definitely be renting this place again.

I rented this house to get away and work on my novel, just my dog and I. The view is beyond incredible. The house was spotlessly clean, bright, open, airy and relaxing. I loved the classical music they had playing when I arrived, such a nice touch. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and the view was captivating and the perfect solace for working. The neighborhood is very quite and peaceful and my dog loved laying in the deck watching the wildlife below. The hot tub was clean and relaxing and much needed after a day of writing. Views were amazing (pictures don’t do it justice) and House very accommodating. We loved the outdoor deck and spa! Even though there is a House right next door you would never know; deck feels VERY private and no one can see you. Kitchen had everything we needed (besides coffee filters that fit the coffee maker but we were able to pick some up easy enough). I think if coffee filters are your biggest gripe that’s a GOOD SIGN :) thanks for the amazing stay! 5 stars :)

Great and seamless experience theroughout. The management company is very responsive and thorough. The property is amazing and exceeded our expectations. The home has a huge patio with a hot tub facing the ocean. There's also a sauna room. The entry way features a beautiful mini garden. Dillon beach is technically a walking distance but I recommend driving since the home is on a hill. Can get foggy and windy overnight, but that's expected for the summer season.

Beach Nest was an absolutely gorgeous home and we had a lovely stay. The photos don't even do it justice. The home is well-laid out, views were spectacular, and meticulously clean. This was a truly relaxing, luxurious vacation thanks to the property, its proximity to the beach and surrounding things to do. Most mornings we'd be able to see deer grazing in the hillside below, and from the deck or the living room, could take in the sight of the ocean. Marvelous.

This was our first time staying on the hill about the town. It was pleasantly peaceful and pretty private compared to many of the Dillon Beach rentals. The house is nicely furnished and very comfortable. Russian River/Dillon Beach property management was very attentive to our needs and Thal is a super person in general. I would recommend this place for a couple or 2 or a small family. We'll be visiting this place again.

This place was amazing. The views are breath taking and everything about this place is perfect! From the spa on the deck with a full view of the ocean to the modern kitchen and comfortable beds.......everything meet our expectations! We'll be back for sure.

The Beach Nest is a very cute and peaceful home with gorgeous views. The overall ambiance reminded me of a quaint spa getaway. We went for a calm bachelorette weekend and the home was perfect for the surprise in house massage that we had for our bride. The home is higher on the cliffs so it's a bit difficult to bike or walk down to the beach if you're looking for something right on the beach. Overall, everything was very clean and arrival was lovely as they left the music on with lights. Very welcoming. The hot tub overlooks a gorgeous view and should be noted that it is right up next door to the next door neighbors yard as well. <br/><br/>A few things that would improve our stay:<br/>For the price of the stay ($430 per night) there were some shortcomings in comparison to other homes:<br/>1) The kitchen is not as well appointed as other homes that I've stayed in. The spices and basic amenities were a bit lacking and the closest store is a tiny general store. The kitchen utensils were also a bit difficult such as the knives being quite dull. <br/>2) There is a laundry list of cleaning responsibilities that took a little of the peace of mind off the stay. Other homes just strip the linen and run the washer. <br/>3) There is no additional activities such as DVDs or board games. Of course the idea is to go out but we got pretty fogged in the first night we were in the area and were surprised there wasn't any other movies/games available.<br/>4) The rental agreement can use some better formatting and review to avoid redundancy because it's a bit long but that's just an administrative note which didn't affect the ratings at all. <br/>Again, small things but when the price is at that point, there's just a higher expectation. <br/><br/>Overall a great stay.

Property Management very professional and accommodating from beginning to end. The drive was easy about one hour from Crockett. For January the weather was perfect about 70. It was the maverick weekend and a lot of surfers on the beach. The next day we went to the beach and there was a film crew filming a movie about 1970's Chevron Oil spill, it was interesting. I mingled with the crew and let them know I was a part of the actual cleanup crew, paid by Chevron at Bolinas Beach. Anyway, Dillon Beach is a nice little quaint town, close to Bay Area, slow pace and excellent oysters. G Rossiter

Great time at the house and enjoyed the great location. Everything about this home allowed for a very comfortable stay. Will stay here again in the future.

This was the perfect spot for us to stay for 3 days of our vacation. The views were awesome, very relaxing.
