I rented the house with 3 girlfriends for my birthday and it was wonderful. The house is well described in the listing, but doesn't do justice to the calm and relaxation you feel lying out on the dock by the river or dining on the back porch. It's a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood and a very short drive to downtown Guerneville or an easy walk. All of the instructions were clear and the house was very well stocked - even came upon some birthday candles! I highly recommend this property - we had a great time here and loved the quiet and proximity to town. A wonderful first trip to Guerneville!

Started great with easy instructions to find the home and enter. Val had soft music playing and lights on when we got there, making it warm and inviting. Hot tub worked great. Kitchen was probably the best equipped of any we’ve visited. There were lots of locations on the property with comfy chairs so you could sit about anywhere with a cup of coffee and enjoy the quiet. The dock had 4 kayaks, easily accessible, and we took a couple out one morning - bring inflatable floaties and a pump kit you just want to drift, though ;-). Watched an otter across the river slipping through the chilly waters. Sleeping was easy as the beds were comfy, the neighborhood is quiet, and the streets pretty dark. We had a genuinely great time and have already talked about coming back. This is as nice as the description suggests!

Our family had a wonderful time at the Lily Pad. The house was in a perfect location; walking distance to town but not TOO close. We were right on the Russian River and the redwood trees were so beautiful. The house was equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly imagine. I wish I had realize what they supplied and I would not have packed so much. We could not use the firepit as advertised because of new state laws but the Lily Pad management scrambled and had a fire table purchased and installed on the deck. We had a small problem with the hot tub controls; we called and they arrived within minutes to fix it. We hope we can stay again in the warmer months when we can enjoy the kayaks and intertubes.

With 3 young teens, this was a perfect place to escape for a long weekend. The house is on the river and sits high above the river bank. Beds are comfortable and the house is layed out well for hanging out at the dining room table, living room or out on the deck. We all also enjoyed the ping pong table and dart board in the basement. The jacuzzi was clean and nice, fluffy towels are provided. The only very small issues we had were not enough silverware (forks and regular knives) - besides that the kitchen was well equipped - we cooked all 3 nights and baked for breakfast and found everything we needed.

Beautiful, clean house in an ideal location in Guerneville. Just an hour north of SF, the perfect place to get away for a long weekend. The property is gorgeous too! Right next to the river, surrounded by trees and a lush green lawn. The house had everything we needed to hunker down and be comfortable but also near restaurants and shops to get out and enjoy a meal. We visited during the winter, but can't wait to return in the summer!

We spent over 8 days here last Christmas. Had a great time living there and exploring the area.<br/>The owner has done a great job of stocking the place (kitchen, pantry etc) and actually make it functional. The game room was also quite fun too!<br/> <br/>I was pleasantly surprised by the checkout procedure. It was the easiest of anything I have experienced in vacation rentals. There was not not much for us to do except take our stuff and lock the door.

Seven friends gathered to celebrate the bride with homemade meals of Pozole and Noodles and quiche, one instructor in the group let us in Pilates and yoga we also took part in a hot tub soak under the beautiful moon and redwood trees would not have missed that!!! It's so quiet we all slept beautifully. Thank you.

What a wonderful girls weekend. I do have one complaint, and that is that we didn't have more days! We will definately be back to play and relax. The hot tub on the deck was a nice touch and allowed us all to sit and talk and drink in the cool night air. There is nothing I would change...ok maybe have some beach towels available ;0) Management was attentive and helpful and the place was simply perfect! Pingpong and darts were fun too!

There was plenty to do on the property including playing on the dock, ping pong, darts, a hot tub, games, and a huge back yard with a fire pit. Even though we were close to other houses it felt very private

We had a lovely relaxing time at the Lily Pad. We spent lazy days on the river and walked into town at night. The house was clean, comfortable and roomy. The deck space was also so nice and equipped with lots of chairs for daytime socializing. The staff was just a phone call away and also very helpful to answer questions. We can't wait to go back.

The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything to cook with including spices. The river and dock area provided a lot of entertainment. The hot tub was a extra plus. There are a lot of stairs front and back. The property is beautiful, peaceful and there is something for everyone to do. We had a great time at the Lily Pad! Thank you

The home is great for gatherings of friends and family with its parking, communal areas, and well stocked kitchen and game room. Having direct river access and using their kayaks was a fun experience. The hot tub was the cherry on top! If you do want to go into town, it’s an easy 15 minute stroll.

Girls trip for 4 of us- all from out of state. The house was fine. I'm sure if we were staying in the summer the direct access to the river would have changed the stay considerably! Nothing fancy and a bit tired but a great location and worked just fine. Felt it strange we have to bring our own towels for a house that touts a hot tub amenity - seems strange not to provide for guests:(

We had a lovely relaxing time at the Lily Pad. We spent lazy days on the river and walked into town at night. The house was clean, comfortable and roomy. The deck space was also so nice and equipped with lots of chairs for daytime socializing. The staff was just a phone call away and also very helpful to answer questions. We can't wait to go back.

We had a great time at the Lily Pad. The house was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked including spices.The decks and private dock were amazing. There is something fun for everyone to do. Huge yard and beautiful views.There are a lot of outside stairs front and back which could be a problem for the elderly or small children. We really enjoyed the hot tub it was clean and someone came to service it on Wednesday.There's plenty of areas to relax inside and out. The only suggestion my family had would be a couple of umbrellas on the upper deck to escape the heat of the sun.We used the grill several times and it is connected to natural gas so no worries of running out of propane. This is definitely our favorite rental property and we will come again!

Quiet and relaxing home with lots of outdoor space and right on the water. Gas grill made for a delicious BBQ. We spent most of our time on the dock (watching the ducks, egrets and birds), in the hot tub, or on the deck. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend.

When you find yourself seeking rest, relaxation, and a place to unwind look no further than Lily Pad. This is an amazing property with expansive grounds, beautiful redwoods, and private river access. We could not have picked a better place to spend the weekend catching up after the unprecedented year we’ve had. The property was immaculately kept, well furnished, and turn-key ready. They provided everything we needed for the perfect stay. We just picked up some groceries in town and they took care of the rest - well stocked kitchen,BBQ, hot tub, horseshoes, ping pong, darts, kayaks, river tubes, a fire pit, and more. I’m already thinking about how much I’d like to go back again next year!

It was really a great place to relax. We had fun. Our dogs had fun. <br/>Amazing location! It's only a few min walk to downtown.<br/>The only small thing, which may have been in the description and I didn't read it..., the house is in the middle of 3 houses and they share a big back yard. It is really nice, but it is not clear whose place is what or if the yard is completely fenced.

This is a family tradition for us the last four years and we will continue to go here. There were some issues with air quality due to fires that had nothing to do with the house, but Armstrong Beach was closed, so no food or boat rentals or umbrellas there.The house was wonderful as usual, although the paddle boat that used to be there was gone, so we had to buy a inflatable canoe to enjoy the river, which was kind of a drag, but hopefully they will get a couple of more boating options. Two single kayaks isn't enough for a family of six and we didn't know the paddle boat was gone, hence the four stars on eminities. BUT totally enjoyed our stay in the house. The management was super helpful ....The air cleared up enough for us to enjoy the river some. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LILY PAD

We stayed in the Lily Pad with our kids and dogs and had a great time. The bunk room was perfect for our 2 kids (you can sleep 4 in there), and my husband and I had the 2 remaining rooms to ourselves. I state this because we sleep in a Cal King bed at home, and the 2 beds are queens. The "master" queen was quite soft and so I ended up sleeping by myself in the other room for more room and a much more supportive bed. The hot tub was wonderful (programmed to 105 degrees which we brought waaay down), the kayaks and floats are in great shape. The dock is in a great location, we utilized it for play, picnics, and launching into the water. We took full advantage of the fire pit, and the yard in general. The location cannot be better. We walked into town with our kids for breakfast. Along the way we played at a park, walked over a pedestrian bridge, and met some local folks. We would definitely stay here again!

LOVE LILY PAD!!! It is beautiful location, great house, fun playroom and my grandkids just love it there. We go every year now. My only critique would be the adult beds are not very comfy, I always bring a topper for myself. But I'm old so maybe it's just me, cuz even with the topper I have a difficult time sleeping on the hard mattress. Other than that, there is NO BETTER PLACE in Guerneville....close to everything, and the kayaks and paddle boat are a blast to row down to the Snack Shack Beach. It is always clean and well kept, with a well appointed kitchen. We just love it there. Lots of stairs so take care bringing an older dog, or far I'm still good to go!!! DBPM are the best for vacation management, both at Dillon and Russian River.

I recently stayed at the Lily Pad for an annual friends trip. We chose the Lily Pad because we wanted a place that could fit our group and had a dock on the Russian River. The house is clean, modern and has excellent WiFi. Two of my friends had to video conference for work during our stay and had no issues. What has us planning to come back again next year is the property, scenery and on site activities. The property is much larger than the pictures suggest and the lush scenery from the deck is the perfect backdrop for a morning coffee. With a fire pit, hot tub, kayaks, floating tubes and short walk to downtown Guerneville this place has it all.

Lily Pad does not disappoint!!! Great location close to town and immaculately clean. It's modest from the front when you arrive, but the inside, and especially the incredible back yard where you will spend most of your time, are exceptional! The home is fully updated and the kitchen is a dream with a gas cook top and all the knives, bowls, dishes, etc you need to cook at home (or enjoy all the amazing local eateries!) Check-in and checking out were simple and seamless. Lily Pad quickly became our home away from home and we could not recommend it more highly. It's even better than the photos show it to be. Five star review--we will definitely come back again!

This property is amazing. Well appointed beautiful kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 baths...the hot tub on the two level deck next to towering redwoods...the private dock with paddle boats and kayaks, the well placed safe fire pit in the huge yard between the river and the dock, great BBQ and eating is just marvelous. We have been twice and are planning our trip next year. My only suggestion would be to add some memory foam toppers to the beds, (I bring my own everywhere)...wouldn't cost much to make the beds super comfy. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place.

Lily Pad is an excellent property directly on the water. There is an enormous yard for activities, plus a ping pong table and horse shoes. Nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. Perfect property to put some floats in the water and swim around, not to mention the kayaks and paddle boat.

First I have to say that this house was fantastic and fulfilled all our needs. Even had time to play ping pong and darts. Never had time to use the kayaks and certainly with all the fires in the area, we were not going to use the fire pit. <br/>This was a very exciting trip for the 5 of us. Never did we expect fires in the area. Thank you for the phone call. I know you would have been pounding on our door if we needed to evacuate. Keeping sympathetic to the locals, we did have an opportunity to visit a few southern wineries. Even got into San Francisco and Muir Woods. <br/>All in all, we had a great time, despite some stress. The house did advertise 3 baths and 3 bedrooms but we did not expect the third bathroom to be located in the basement. We made do.<br/>Would definitely rent again. Thank you and stay safe.

The Lilly Pad house right on the Russian River in Guerneville was the perfect place to celebrate a milestone birthday! The home is beautiful and well-maintained, the deck with its ginormous redwoods and hot tub was soothing and relaxing and the kitchen is state-of-the-art. Solid house, well equipped kitchens....very clean...beautiful perfect location....there are stairs, but worth it...might be hard for old dogs and frail grandmas. Huge yard, the fire pit was great for a small fire and roasting marshmallows....Ping Pong was great....the beds were not very cushy and could use some memory foam toppers, and no feather pillows, but I always bring my own.....other than that, We LOVED the house...the private dock and kayaks and paddle boats were GREAT.... and are planning our next trip to Lily love with it!!!! Even better than we thought!!!!!<br/>

We would definitely come back! Fabulous property. The only reason I did not give it a five star rating was that the beds and linens could use updating. The cleaning service did and excellent job and the location and house were really great!

We had an amazing stay. It was a birthday celebration for a friend, & there were 6 of us girls. The house was absolutely beautiful, Updated, right on the river the scenery, was beautiful with the river & redwoods all around you. Enjoyed sitting on the decks soaking up the beauty & sitting in the hot tub. Dillion beack property management, was very accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed. You absolutely can not go wrong with this beautiful home (Lily Pad). I would recommend this experience to all my friends.

We had a wonderful family trip, seven of us in all, at this property - and it accommodated all of us well. It's a wonderful location. Our only issue was that we had a person who has difficulty with stairs in our group - and there is a stairs entry into the house. However, once up the stairs - everything is on one level. So all of us were still able to enjoy nearly everything the house had to offer. It's the ideal location if you are looking to enjoy the river, Armstrong Woods, Guerneville, and wine country.

This was a great relaxing amazing place.way better the the pictures capture. Great acceess to the river. Huge beautiful trees. Fire pit was great for evening chats. Absolutely loved every second. Only down side was we didn't book it longer. It was hard to leave.

We loved the Lily Pad!! The house was absolutely beautiful. Everyone loved being right by the water. They were able to swim, and because of provided Kayaks and paddle boat everyone had a great time, even me, who can't swim!! It was nice to have the ping pong table in the basement where it was nice and cool. This is the second year we have done a family vacation and all in the group liked the Lily Pad better than the place we went last year.

We had a great vacation, especially my grand children. The house location was great, we were able to hike among the majestic redwoods<br/>And go to the ocean. We were able to use your kayaks and we appreciate<br/>You had all the needed equipment. We were very Hapy with Lily<br/>Pad. <br/>Just few suggestions: the kitchen knives were not sharp to cut , there were no proper bed sheets for the sofa bed and the matters is very old and uncomfortable.<br/>Otherwise, we enjoyed your property and personnel were friendly and helpful.<br/><br/><br/><br/>

Lily Pad is a well maintained, beautiful, quiet property ideally located on the river just a 5 minute walk to the center of town. The layout was perfect for our family -- nice kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, beautiful view, hot tub, and three things we did not use because of the weather and date of our trip -- a fireplace, a fire pit, and kayaks.

We visited for a weekend with our two young kids and family friends visiting from overseas. We were previously not that familiar with the area but wanted to try something close to the main area of Guerneville and also along the river. This house turned out to suit our needs perfectly - in particular, the large backyard area/firepit and the private dock. It was an easy walk to town over the walking bridge and a perfect spot along the river. We thought the house looked a bit small in the pictures, but it was comfortable enough for our group. The abundance of frog decor in the pictures was a bit much (yes - I understand it is called Lily Pad) but was no bother once there. A few small knocks on our visit were a confusing email response to a question (I'd recommend calling instead) and a few minor dings around the house such as cracked outdoor chairs and screen door. Not a big deal though - all in all, we loved it and would consider renting again. One of our friends at one point said as we sat on the dock - "this is a sort of paradise".

We stayed here during the Christmas holiday and couldn't have asked for a better stay! It was very clean, equipped with all amenities even a Margarita machine! Location was perfect, even during the winter, we were lucky to have some sunny days and we made an easy walk to the kids park and downtown. Thank you! We will be back this summer!

We were beyond impressed with the house! It exceeded our expectations and is even more lovely than the photos. We loved the big open kitchen and dining area, the large deck overlooking the river area, the fun dock was great for hanging out on. We also really enjoyed the outdoor seating around the fire pit. It was a very hot weekend and luckily the house had air conditioning. Otherwise we would have melted. The outdoor hot tub was wonderful in the evenings after it cooled down. The rooms were spacious, and there were lots of extra amenities like a ping pong table for us and our kids to use. We kept asking each other why we had ever rented anything else and when we could book it again for a getaway.

Overall we were comfortable with 8 guest capacity sleeping arrangements. This is our second stay at the house and will definitely be returning!We absolutely loved the dock and sitting by the river! Unfortunately we did not use the bone fire area as much as we would have liked with uncertainty of the fire codes. Wonderful house with access to ping pong and extra fridge was so much fun! Thank you to Dillon Beach for assisting us in every step of the way! See you next year!

We would highly recommend this property! We were looking for a house on the Russian River for a birthday weekend celebration. First of all, the house was absolutely spotless and everything well maintained. When we arrived there were some snacks and a nice welcome note. There was also a call from the property manager to check in to see if we needed anything. We prepared all of our meals and everything we needed (as far as cookware and utensils) was there. The hot tub was amazing and the kids loved being right on the river! This place is very family friendly. We loved the big dining room table and all the seating outdoors. We particularly enjoyed the big redwood trees on the property. It was very quiet and private! We would definitely rent this property again!

The Lily Pad was all I hoped and more. The home is beautiful and well equipped for your comfort and pleasure. The doc and river provided fun and relaxation. The location accommodated all of our vacation needs; golf, wine tasting, shopping, restaurants, and a family tournament of minitue golf all within walking or a short driving distance. Words can not capture the amazing experience my family enjoyed just hanging at the "Lily Pad". Total fun, relaxation, and family memories created on the doc, around the fire pit, and on the deck BBQing.

Our family had a wonderful stay for four days at Lily Pad during the Thanksgiving holiday 2013. The house had all the features, described in the ad, and it actually looked like the pictures! <br/>The property is in a gorgeous location, and we spent quite a lot of time in the hot tub on the deck!<br/>The management of the place is great: they took care to call us in advance to inform us that the gas grill broke shortly before we were due to arrive, and they managed to provide us with a brand new Weber grill! They also left us a great bottle of wine for the "inconvenience"!<br/>We are very grateful for their care, and we would recommend staying at Lily Pad to all of our friends

One word: wow. My family & I were incredibly excited to stay at The Lily Pad after looking at the lovely photos of the property online. But wow, when we arrived it was even better than it looked in the pictures. I've never stayed at a property that is as thoroughly maintained as this place. Clean from wall to wall, with every ammenity you could possibly want & need. Great family vacation home!! This will be a staple home away from home from now for myself & my family. I've rented numerous places in the Guerneville area and The Lily Pad is by far the best of the bunch. A beautiful home with most everything you need, decks with views to die for, huge lawn and fire pit and a dock with steps and ladder. And the kayaks, boat and everything is in excellent condition. I never thought I could get my labs on the kayaks but before you knew it we were sailing up and down the river. Rock on!
