From the moment we arrived to the property, we have all but positive things to say. <br/>The house presented clean, warm, and well maintained. All the amenities of home were there and functional. The house is situated so that every room has a view of the ocean which was magical. <br/><br/>The access to the beach was short and very pleasant with the weather being perfect all the days we stayed. <br/>Will definitely keep this property on my list when we plan another trip to Dillons.

A group of six of us (4 adults and 2 children) stayed at KnotACare over the Thanksgiving weekend. Overall, the house was excellent, and we had a wonderful stay. Its location was extremely close to the beach; in addition, there were good ocean views from the house. The house was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. The management staff was very responsive to the one issue we had (the gas fireplace did not work, because the gas had been turned off).

Thank you Knot-A-Care for our 5th annual girls trip in this beautiful home. The comfort in this home welcomes us everytime we step in. This location is perfect for everything! We shopped, we cooked, we strolled the beach multiple times per day & had a fire on Dillon Beach one night!! Leaving is so hard. Already booked for next year!! Can't wait to come back. See you next year!

What a perfect location at Dillon's Beach with a fabulous view. The bedrooms were nice and furnished well, but I would suggest mirrors in the three main bedrooms. What I was horrified at was all the black mildew in all the tracks of the sliding doors! The black mildew in the showers was stomach-turning. Even the shower mat in the bathtub shower had mildew! Why do you charge so much for cleaning when it is in these conditions? I have lived in tropical countries and on the beach in Florida, and never had mildew because I cleaned thoroughly. We could not use the outside furniture since it was covered in a greenish algae or other stuff with tiny bugs. The deck off the living room was also in these conditions without the bugs. All need to be power-washed. The carpet downstairs had a big stain. Though I came prepared, I have never been to an Airbnb/rental where they didn't supply amenities for more than one day, and two minuscule bars of soap and two tiny bottles of shampoo for ten people. The gate hung open the entire visit, with no way to secure it, so I couldn't crack the door open at night. We are unsure if we will rent this property for our next visit, especially at $1062 a night and $375 for cleaning. If these problems were addressed, yes, I would rent it again, but my sister had a much nicer place for 12, which was lower in price.

Fun family vacation home. Great views. Definitely needs some TLC. overall we had a good time... if you are coming to Dillon make sure you are bringing all your groceries because there is no access once you get there...stores minimaly stocked and nothing open after 8pm.

The feel of the beach house could be described as really "family comfortable". The layout is such that we never felt really tight or pressed for space, even with 9 people, there's a lot to love about the place. We cooked daily and 4 nights and the kitchen met our needs. Even though it's an older kitchen, they have it really well stocked with most all of the appliances you would need. One thing that was an inconvenience was that you could only plug in 1 device into a kitchen outlet (i.e. microwave or toaster, coffee maker, etc.) otherwise it will trip the circuit breaker. (workaround - we wound up making coffee in the bedroom) This may or may not be an easy fix to address on the electrical service panel.<br/>The beds and bedrooms were all considered comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels, as well as spa towels.<br/><br/>We had an issue with one of the tall white deck chairs, as someone had tried to make a repair, but when my wife went to sit up into it, the whole thing collapsed. She weighs all of 110 lbs. and fortunately bailed before it folded. The chair should be tossed to avoid serious injury. It would be nice to have a hand held battery blower available to keep the decks tidy.<br/><br/>We loved the location to the beach, with easy trails, which made it a breeze to head out for walks or a run. You can literally be at the beach in about 5-10 minutes. The views are pretty sweet from each of the decks as well.<br/><br/>All in all, it's an older beach home, but really charming and comfortable in it's design, layout, amenities, and proximity to the beach. We would stay here again!

Once a year, family from out of state look forward to getting together at Dillon Beach. This beach house is our go to rental. Beautiful views of the ocean from not only the outdoor decks but also from almost every window in the house. Everyone can't wait to go back next year.

We had the best time at KnotACare! The house was perfect for our family and the views of the ocean were spectacular! We didn’t want to leave! The only trouble we had was with the refrigerator when we first arrived. I have never stayed at a vacation rental where the refrigerator was not cold when we arrived. It took 5 hours for it to get below 50 degrees. We traveled quite a few hours with food from home in an ice chests expecting to be able to put meat and milk products in a cold refrigerator. The refrigerator should be cold for guests upon their arrival. But other than that, everything about this house was perfect! I would highly recommend anyone staying here and we hope to be back again soon!

My family and I had a wonderful weekend in Dillon Beach! This property is very beautiful and we all had our fair share of fun. I loved that the property was well stocked with everything (kitchen utensils, pots, pans, seasonings, extra towels, blankets, pillows, zip lock bags, etc). I am definitely planning to come back to this property in the new year! The hosts made it a very easy check in and check out process. The view was amazing! The neighbors were also very friendly and nice! I would 10/10 recommend!

Dillon Beach has been our family happy place for years. With all of the changes that have taken place there it was great to find a house big enough for us within walking distance to the beach. The house is comfortable and well maintained. We so enjoyed our family time. The property management folks were great.

Nice stay in a quiet neighborhood. We were off season and not here on a weekend, so really enjoyed the lack of crowds, traffic and noise. Lots of wild life abound. Hot tub had some sand in the bottom and someone stopped by unexpectedly to maintain, but otherwise very peaceful. Neighbors were friendly. Nearby general store is expensive, but helpful in a pinch for miscellaneous needs. Hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating.

We had a couple problems that were addressed immediately. Dennis the handyman was efficient, professional and friendly. We were there during a rainy period and had a leak downstairs, which was inconvenient but manageable. Property management was quick to respond, which was a great comfort. All in all it was a great place to spend a long weekend with friends. Neat and clean and comfortable. Very short walk to the beach.<br/> The kitchen had everything we needed. We were confused by check out requirement of not only running dishwasher the morning we were leaving but to empty it as well. That made checkout day hectic. We will definitely book again!

GREAT! Beautiful house, great location close to the beach, great window and deck views of the ocean. All amenities were present in the home--we enjoyed using the grill and hot tub, and living areas. TV was very old, and we couldn't connect with any of our smart devices, so were limited to a strange collection of existing dvds.

We enjoyed it very much. Our group included 6 adults and three children. Everyone loved the house. Fantastic location near the beach. Hot tub. Table tennis. nice amenities. well maintained. <br/>The beautiful beach is 2-3 minutes easy walk from the house. <br/>The place is quiet and has a very nice view of the beach. <br/>Short driving distance to small towns with restaurants and stores. <br/>Best vacation in many years.

4 adults and 3 children “hit the decks’ on an extremely windy afternoon arrival.. the kids claimed their spaces immediately and unpacked in spacious closets, as did adults. West deck for sunsets was great but winds forced us East to glassed in West deck- a lifesaver! Kitchen, dining and living area were well appointed snd stocked with essentials. Terrific sunset/ ocean views from perfectly placed windows/ the home fit our needs perfectly!!

It was pleasant. The beds were comfortable. The property is in a walking distance to the main beach. That was awesome. <br/>NOTE: the only issue we had with the house was, one of the rail on the deck out of master bed room is extremely loose and it is a major hazard and accident waiting to happen. It definitely needs immediate repair.

MY DAUGHTER AND I HAD A GREAT TIME WITH 6 OF MY GRANDKIDS...THE KIDS ENJOYED THE PLAYROOM IN THE GARAGE AND ALL OF THE ROOMS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE, WELL STOCKED AND SPACIOUS. THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOMS WERE ALSO VERY WELL STOCKED. ONE COMMENT ON THE ROAD TO THE BEACH...I EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO WALK DOWN TO THE BEACH WITH THE KIDS, BUT THERE WAS A WASHED AWAY SLOPE ON THE WALKWAY TO THE BEACH, THAT MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO WALK WITH CHAIRS, BAGS, ICE CHESTS, ETC. AND THE KIDS. WE HAD TO DRIVE TO THE BEACH...BUT WE HAD A GREAT TIME WHEN WE GOT THERE!

This house is in a fantastic location, it was an easy 5 min walk down to the beach that was on a trail easy enough for my 70 year old mom and my 3 year old daughter.<br/><br/>The house itself was a great set-up for traveling with kids as there are 3 rooms downstairs plus a family room with a tv so we were able to not listen to 5 ipads/video games and have an actual adult conversation upstairs while the kids were playing downstairs.<br/><br/>The beds were a bit on the firmer side but that was ok, really the only issue was the downstairs shower had no water pressure and it took 3-5 mins to actually get warm, not hot, water. We tried to take really short showers because of the draught but that shower made it impossible.<br/><br/>The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all meals at the house and the hot tub worked great!<br/><br/>Overall fantastic vacation and we'd definitely rent the house again!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our birthdays at Knot-a-Care! It exceeded all expectations: clean, spacious and comfortable with amazing views, a very short walk to the beach and into town, bbq on the patio, hot tubbing nightly and multiple ping-pong championships. Highly recommended!

2 grandparents, 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law and 2 grandchildren ages 3 and 12 enjoyed much-needed time together at the beach, playing ping pong and board games, singing karoke, feasting, snacking and hot tubbing. The time was too short especially since check out time was at 11 am.

Excellent rental and location, had a fun 4 days here in June 2021. Plenty of dishes cups and space for 10 people. The home was comfortable and clean. Property management company was wonderful and fixed a small issue with the dishwasher within hours of reporting it. I would love to come back and rent again as it was a wonderful week in Dillon's beach.

The rental was great, just what we needed for our first trip since lockdown 2020. It was clean, well stocked, super close to the beach, and very quiet. See the VRBO review for more details, but overall we really enjoyed the rental and felt like we had good communication with the property management and knew exactly who to call for any issues thanks to the obvious signage in the home.

Lovely big house. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Deer visits every day. Great outdoor spaces included the back deck sheltered from the wind and a front deck perfect for morning coffee while staring at the horizon and listening to waves. Loved walking the bluffs, watching the sunset and playing on the beach.<br/><br/>If I could improve one thing it would be adding a window covering on the big beautiful picture window in the living room. Long summer days give way too much sun in that room making watching the tv tough and it can get warm in there, even in the mild beach weather and with windows open. <br/>The hot tub wasn’t working but they called ahead to let us know and gave a discount, so no real complaints there. <br/>Overall, wonderful and we hope to be back!

My husband and I were so lucky to stay at Knot-a-Care. We are travel healthcare workers and truly needed a little beach time with our kids. Stacy's house was perfect. It was clean, had everything we needed, a 2 minute walk to the beach and had a hot tub! There was hardly anyone around the entire time we were on the beach, we couldn't have asked for more. My family and I had the opportunity to spend an incredible weekend at Knot a Care Dillon beach, it was a wonderful house well stocked, we loved the decor, there was enough space and rooms for all. My family (5 grownups and 4 grandchildren) spent Christmas week at the Knot-a-Care property in Dillon Beach on the Sonoma Coast. It was absolutely delightful. The beach walking is fabulous. There is a great market in the village. We never got in our cars or left the area except for Christmas dinner with relatives nearby. The house accommodated all of us very nicely. It's a short and lovely drive to Tomales. The staff is friendly and accommodating. As I pulled up, Dani happened to be there to ready the house for us and was welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay there again! Our only suggestion to the owners would be to better stock the kitchen with some basics--salt, pepper, a few common items like garlic powder, etc. We felt like the basics one normally finds in pricey rentals were sparse. Other than that, splendid!!

We had a wonderful time here and will definitely come back! The house is even nicer and more spacious than the pictures suggest. Rooms had plenty of linens and pillows, kitchen was clean and fully stocked. The location is superb, just a short walk down to the beach or to the Dillon General Store. We were a group of three families with small children and there was more than enough space. One recommendation if you have really small kids is to bring a baby gate, as the stairs separating the living area from the bedrooms are quite steep.

It is annoying to me to get all the system generated emails once we rented the house. It is a vacation; give me a break.<br/>The property could use some landscape maintenance; seemed overgrown. Hot tub temp set at 96 degrees; couldn't increase it. Kitchen cupboards over the counters are right at head level; was afraid I would bump into one. (would be nice to have soft close hinges on them)

We did have grandparents with us so who were unable to walk to the beach but the rest of the family loved it. We rented Knot a Care house in Dillon Beach. It's a very nice, comfortable house with a hot tub, game room with ping pong and 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. The 5 children we had with us loved the game room and also the board games in the house. There are nice decks to sit out on. The house is in walking distance of the beach and has nice ocean views. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We rented Knot a Care house in Dillon Beach. It's a very nice, comfortable house with a hot tub, game room with ping pong and 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. The 5 children we had with us loved the game room and also the board games in the house. There are nice decks to sit out on. The house is in walking distance of the beach and has nice ocean views. We enjoyed our stay very much.

My children, their partners and I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at Dillon Beach. Knot-a-Care is a lovely home, well situated near the beach, with everything we needed for our stay.<br/>We loved the comfy sofa, spacious decks with view of the ocean, and comfy beds.<br/>The beach is a five minute walk away, and the trail down to it pretty manageable.

My children, their partners and I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at Dillon Beach. Knot-a-Care is a lovely home, well situated near the beach, with everything we needed for our stay.<br/>We loved the comfy sofa, spacious decks with view of the ocean, and comfy beds.<br/>The beach is a five minute walk away, and the trail down to it pretty manageable.

We stayed here for 4 days/3 nights. With 8 adults and 2 kids, there was plenty of room for all of us. The house is beautiful, with 3 bedrooms downstairs and the kitchen/dining/family room and another bedroom located upstairs. The 2nd floor wraparound balcony has an unhindered view of the ocean. There is a patio in the back with a propane BBQ and plenty of chairs and tables -- it was here that we spotted several deer almost each day of our stay! The neighbors were quiet and kept to themselves. Our Cell Phone service and GPS had no service here (but the house has landlines which was great!). There is plenty of parking in front of the house (2 cars) and additional parking on the side leading to the garage (can park at least 3 cars). When we walked in to the house, the lights were on, there was pleasant music playing on the TV sets upstairs and downstairs and a little welcome granola bar/chocolate snack set up on the table. The house has almost everything that you may need. The kitchen is well stocked. There is plenty of bedding (the beds are all extremely comfortable and HUGE). There is quite a collection of books and DVDs/VHS tapes offering entertainment. We even used the ping pong table in the garage one night. The hot tub is clean and well maintained. Overall, the house is delightful and I am so glad that we chose it. My only complaint (if I can really call it that) is that there weren't very many things for young kids to play with; however, that is not their fault! You can walk to the beach directly from this property (the path is pretty steep in some areas so not suitable for all). Also, you can't park at the end of the street to climb down to the beach (it is restricted only to people who have an "Owners Permit" but it only takes a couple of minutes to walk down there. Overall, this property was very clean, well maintained, well stocked and the location is unbeatable. By the time we left, it was feeling like home and we were feeling nostalgic.

Our family stayed at Knot A Care for a long weekend in March. We loved the house - the four bedrooms provided all the sleeping space we needed for the eight of us. The hot tub is wonderful, the multiple decks are awesome with gorgeous ocean views, and the ping pong table gave us the opportunity to have some friendly family challenges. This property is only a few minutes walk from the beach and from the Dillon Beach store and cafe. We would not hesitate to recommend this property as a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful family reunion over Christmas at Knot-a-Care. The family room with the warm fireplace and beautiful view was the perfect gathering place. We enjoyed the ping-pong table, hot tub, and and walks to the beach. A great Dillon Beach escape!

This was a great place for a holiday vacation. We station our friends from out of town at this house and took turns visiting them. The kids were entertained with the game room. With two families on location, the two stories were perfect to give us privacy and we loved the long table where we were all able to enjoy meals together. This house is by far one of the better houses I have stayed at. Very clean and nice. You have a big ocean view from every bedroom. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The kids loved the ping pong table and the fact his house is by far one of the closest to the beach the kids could go back and forth on there own. All 13 of us loved it and had a great time just wish we had more than a weekend, we needed a week to enjoy this place. Renting this home was a breeze everything over the Internet and key was at the house in the lock box when we arrived.

Clean and well managed. Easiest beach access and best view. Maybe a few cooking pots more , but a well stocked kitchen otherwise. Open and spacious and not cluttered with nicknacks. ??????????

Our family has grown in size to where we needed to rent an additional home nearby to accommodate everyone, but Knot-a-Care serves as the most popular home for the family due to proximity and convenient access to the beach, especially for the children. We have enjoyed staying at Knot-A-Care for 5 or 6 times for a week long vacation for our extended family. The grandkids absolutely love the beach house, the hot tub and location so near to the beach. We noticed some minor improvements this year which were appreciated (painted tables, new dining chairs and new BBQ). However, the upstairs shower control knob was broken making it nearly impossible to control the water temperature. The slider door onto the back deck is nearly inoperable due to no wheels on the track. Otherwise, there were plenty of dishes, pots and pans and the Wi-Fi and TVs worked just fine. We hope to be able to rent Knot-A-Care again next year at about the same time.
