Hard to write a glowing review here because I want to keep this gem all to myself!All jokes aside I was blown away by how clean, tidy, and tasteful this cabin was. You always worry about what condition you find a place (vs the photos.) I can faithfully say that for once the photo's tell a more modest story than the experience. The wrap around deck was clutch as we had river floaties and outdoor gear we needed to stow. The grill was immaculate and the hot tub was clean and inviting. You can bathe in the forest while you enjoy the hot tub. Definitely a great place to get centered and present. Beds were comfy, kitchen was updated and clean. Next time I'm in the area I will certainly see if Stace has availability again.

This place was divine! So cozy but just the right size for the max number of people (6). The hot tub in the back was worth it in itself - the idyllic oasis. The interior was recently renovated and looked so beautiful. The location in relation to the Russian River was great, not to mention it was close enough to downtown Guerneville to be a short drive (or walk even), but far enough to feel secluded. They run the property very professionally, feels like an authentic BnB with modern touches.

This sweet red cabin in the woods exceeded all expectations!! What a special surprise to have the lights on and a few treats waiting for us. <br/>The cabin is so charming. Everything was perfect. <br/>We loved every minute of it. And made some great memories. Loved checking out Guerneville and the surrounding areas. Loved being able to walk down to the river. The big porch under the giant red woods made a for a great nap. <br/>I would give it 10 stars if I could!!! I highly recommend this property.

My daughter & I enjoyed spending quality mother daughter time under the redwoods at this cute & cozy cabin. We loved how clean and welcoming we felt when we arrived. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of wine tasting. We highly recommend it!

My partner and I had a lovely stay in Stace’s cabin. It is very well equipped so we enjoyed the hot tub and had a delightful BBQ dinner on the deck, surrounded by towering redwoods. Very close to downtown Guerneville and on a quiet street that felt very safe and calming. Hope to stay again!

This is just a cozy cabin in the woods. The patio is lovely with views of the redwoods. The hot tub with views of redwoods is so nice. We love the vintage charm - the games provided and all the amenities in the kitchen. Once in a while you may hear a car drive by but it’s ok. We loved this special stay for our family of 5 and enjoyed lots of quality time as a family. Our first time in Guerneville and it was fun to explore the book stores, art galleries, restaurants and Safeway nearby is convenient. The house is close by to it all, and 5 min drive to Russian river. It was a very comfortable stay!

This house was great for our weekend getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home, and we enjoyed our evenings on the patio and in the hot tub. The house seemed a little bigger in pictures but was perfect for our family of four. I think 6 adults would be a bit tight in the space. Overall it is a well kept and lovely home and we would definitely stay again.

This house, while pricey, is a gem - beautifully updated interior with room for the allotted guests, steps to multiple river put-ins, surrounded by beautiful and giant redwoods, air conditioned centrally, and with a hot tub. The ultimate Guerneville and Russian River experience!

This place is great for 2 couples and maybe a couple of small children. I don’t know that 6 adults would fit though.Hot tub was such a great perk. Stace was kind and the decor was updated and cute. This place is incredible! Perfect hot tub with steaming fairy lights in the trees of the yard. The cabin is cozy, yet spacious. The fireplace is just ornamental, but I could have stayed a week!

My friends and I came in for the annual lazy bear event. This was the best place to stay. Far enough away from the festivities for a retreat but close enough to be able to enjoy it all. The location in the woods also meant that when it got hot out the house stayed nice and comfortable without ac. The house was well stocked with kitchen stuff that made making large dinners easy. Would stay here again.

This cabin is absolutely fantastic. The owners were responsive and friendly. The neighborhood is centrally located to river access, hiking, downtown, etc. Definitely my favorite rental in 10 years of going to Guerneville. Highly recommend it!

The cottage was perfect in every way. I was there with my husband and two daughters and we all agree. The location was super convenient. The cottage was the perfect resting place after exploring the coast or taking in wine country. So peaceful and cozy.

Tucked away in a quaint neighborhood in the redwoods, this lovely cabin is the perfect retreat for exploring wine country or just relaxing on the patio. Quiet, safe and ideally located near the center of Guerneville, wineries and breweries, there is something to enjoy for everyone. We had strong wifi for the teenagers and those working remotely, a well stocked kitchen to cook all our own meals and a beautiful patio/backyard for our pup. Property management was quick and responsive if we needed anything. We arrived to a warm welcome of tall redwoods, dog treats and music playing. Highly recommend. One thing to note: it’s a small space, so pack light. the small bedroom was tough to fit our suitcases in so we kept them in the main room. The bigger bedroom surprisingly had room for our bassinet once we removed the small table from there. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back again.

We had a great time in this lovely home. Woke to a gentle rain among the redwoods. Neighbors were friendly and quiet. Quick walk to the water. Soothing hot tub, fully stocked kitchen..... All in all it was a great experience.

We loved redwood retreat! The house is surrounded by beautiful redwoods. We spent the majority of our time on the deck but the inside was well appointed. Everything we needed to use was clean. The walls could use a once over every so often since it is so woodsy. The bedrooms are small but that was perfectly fine for us. We loved waking up with the sun. The sheets could use some upgrading and we would have liked 2 towels per person given the length of our stay. We traveled with our kids and they go to bed at around 8/8:30 so we did not have any issues with noise. Overall wonderful stay

Everything about this cottage was great! Loved the fenced in porch for keeping our dog and toddler enclosed. House was cozy. Neighborhood was quiet. It was a peaceful retreat!

The Redwood Retreat is just as described. Nestled within a lovely community the privacy of this home is perfect. Fully equipped home, lovely raised deck with furniture to sit and read under the Redwoods, BBQ, Hot tub, claw foot bath tub, fully equipped for your enjoyment. Short walk to the Russian River. Could not be more happy. Thank you Stacy and Jim and team for the personal support and experience of the Redwood Retreat. We will be back. :)

Great place very clean and all amenities you would need. Hot tub very nice house is in a great location. Hot tub would suggest to rotate hot tub so step inside tub lines up with the wooden deck. Getting in and out of tub a little dangerous

The property was even better in person than the photos! It had been updated very tastefully, while keeping the cabin's charm. Easy walk to the river. Very nice outdoor space. Beautiful redwood trees right in the front yard. Loved the hot tub!

We had a lovely time atvRedwood Retreat- the house was updated and well maintained. We loved grilling on the deck and enjoying the hot tub under the redwoods! The local beach is a little bit rocky for wading in the water with small kids - but overall a great location close to town ! The property manager was very responsive.

This was such a relaxing trip, just what we needed. <br/>The cabin had a nice deck and we used the hot tub every evening. Perfect space for my husband and I along with our old dog. <br/>Walking distance to river. Minutes from town & grocery store. <br/>We would come here again. <br/>

I rented this cabine for my parents anniversary. They said it was very relaxing the only thing was the construction going on next door it started at 8:00 am with loud machines and my pops had to go from sitting on the deck reading a book to inside with the doors and windows closed . Other than that they loved it

We loved that the location was both peaceful and convenient to Guerneville and the Russian River. I stepped outside the door every morning to giant Redwoods, and I couldn't be happier. The space was clean, the kitchen was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, and the hot tub was phenomenal. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely book again in the future.

The Redwood retreat was more of a boat-tree-house. Built on stilts, as all the houses in this redwood neighborhood are, and built amongst gloriously tall redwoods. During the rains it felt like we were rocking back and forth on a dream sea deep in the forest. There is river access only blocks away in a diverse neighborhood. <br/><br/>The occasional power outages made our stay very quiet as the usual electric hum of home appliances (fridge) were silenced which we liked.<br/><br/>Overall everything was clean and not overly scented. There's extra pillows and plenty of comfortable seating, the beds too were comfortable. Our stay was pleasant.<br/>

I cannot express enough how magnificent our time was at the redwood retreat! The host was so wonderful and timely in answering my many questions via email before my trip! Our mouths dropped when we pulled up. It is a beautiful road of charming homes and beautiful redwood trees. Everything inside the redwood retreat is so charming and warm. We had such a cozy stay. Breakfast on the huge deck out back every morning, loved the hot tub, and the beautiful windows in the bedroom made it feel like you were sleeping amongst the trees. I cannot recommend this place enough! Would love to go back!

My teenage son and I stayed here while we attended work and school remotely. It was pretty and quiet. We walked the neighborhood and down to the river every day. Safeway was super close and we cooked or barbecued pretty much every night. The hot tub was very peaceful. The only couple of issues we had were that I thought there was a washer/dryer and there wasn't. We of course managed fine without it. For some reason there was also barely enough toilet paper. Small things. Overall, a great place for a change of scenery in a pandemic.

Wonderful property management company and beautiful property! This is the perfect weekend getaway spot. Clean and comfortable inside, with redwoods, pear tree and hot tub in backyard. You really never have to leave. We had a couple day trips but mostly stayed at the property. 5 minute drive to Downtown Guerneville for take out or groceries. I would recommend this property if you’re looking to get away and relax.

Large deck area outside of kitchen made up for smaller interior cottage size. Perfect for BBQ Has dining table, sofa and chairs to relax outdoors in redwood forest. Great customer service by Property Management Co. through out the process. Accurate descriptions of property. One B/R had a L/R sized chair placed in it and made it too tight to get in and out of the room. I would stay at this property again. Very clean and close proximity to river and Main St in Gurneville.
