What a wonderful stay! A friend and I stayed at the Tree Fort for a personal writing retreat for 1 week. And the house did not disappoint! The house has lots of glass windows which let in nice light during the day. It has a bedroom with a door, and a loft space in the main house with an additional bedroom at the bottom of the house down below. The hot tub was amazing, as was the house's proximity to shopping in Guernville, Armstrong woods, and wine tasting. We were impressed with how the company managing this property took care of an issue related to a late check-in issue that was not our fault. Overall, a terrific stay!

This place was delightful. A jewel box in the trees near Guerneville. We stayed here with our adult daughter to be near family at Xmas, the perfect size for two couples. Many houses like this are rustic, but this is light-filled with very modern infrastructure and new high-end appliances throughout. We did have a bit of a problem with the heating on arrival, but the property manager sent out a technician immediately to sort it out. This on a Saturday evening before Xmas eve! Outstanding service.

The house is really pretty and super fun. Its pretty far away from the main road so there’s almost no noise, but there are neighbors on both sides of the house. Even though they’re relatively close by there’s a bunch of trees and privacy walls that do a good job of maintaining that “I’m in the middle of nowhere” feel without actually being far from a lot! The host was great with communication and left us some goodies for our stay which was a nice touch. Super easy access for the river too! Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

Full disclosure, I grew up in the Sierra Nevadas so I love trees and have a bias for being near them. That being said, I will gladly recommend the Tree House as a unique, relaxing, well equipped get away. We came to celebrate my daughters 17th birthday. - as she had her 16th birthday celebration cancelled as it fell the day after COVID lockdown. In 2020. The Tree House is a combination of modern convenience (the house is equipped with Google home) and old fashioned amenities to unwind - a hammock, a wood stove, chairs on both the upper and lower deck, outdoor fireplace). The hot-tub is larger than it looks in the picture and the owner is clearly intentional in thinking through every detail to make your stay comfortable, from soft throw blankets, to a well stocked kitchen. The beauty of the area is breathtaking, and the local towns are welcoming and charming. The ocean is close, as is the river. Grocery stores and restaurants are just a couple of miles away. I have already recommended the Tree House to several friends and family. Having stayed in several VBRO’s this ranks up as one of my favorites - it has a vibe and energy that was totally restorative for me. Our teenage daughter also gave it a five star rating - those of you with teenagers know that is statement in itself.

I feel renewed after sending the week at this house. It has beautiful views of the redwoods and the landscaping was very nice. The loft was a climb but easy for me. One bedroom downstairs and there is no stairwell to it. Great if you want a little separation. Wifi was good for video conferences.Stace was very responsive. I did manage to lock myself out and I think it was because the lock slide wasn't fully disengaged and more in the center versus up or down. Learn from my mistake.

Beautiful Airbnb amid Redwoods in Russian River valley. Seamless check in, reliable WiFi, very clean, as pictured. Hosts were proactive and communicative. The Treehouse was a lovely spot to spend a long weekend. House was clean, hot tub and grill were clean and worked great, beds were comfy, and there was lots of deck for the doggie to sun herself in. Lots of doggies in the neighborhood greeted us when we walked the loop in the morning. Great spot under the redwoods that offered sun and shade!

We had a lovely stay at the Tree House. Everything was as described in the listing and the location of the Tree House is ideal. Close but not too close to everything. We were a party of three plus our dog - enough space for all of us. The outdoor decks are amazing!

Stacie's place fits the treehouse description perfectly. Surrounded by redwood trees, each window offers tranquil views that are perfect for relaxing and day dreaming. We all appreciated the sound of rainfall hitting the roof as we fell asleep.All beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom is newly remodeled and immaculate. The shower's hot with good water pressure.Definitely recommend for any family to enjoy!

The house is in a beautiful area surrounded by lots of trees. The only downside being the kitchen is very small, so if you are someone who enjoys cooking with your friends it’s not ideal. There was also no blender or wine opener, but we reached out to the host and we had both delivered to our door within an hour!! Great service.The home is comfortable and cozy. Beds are comfortable too.The only thing I would mention is the lower area isn’t completely fenced, so if you have a dog with you just something to be aware of. Overall a very positive experience.

Everything was just as pictured. Very relaxing, cozy and peaceful. Love the big windows, greenery, wood everything - that “outdoors but indoors” feel of it all. The smart speakers throughout the house were a nice addition; everything was modern yet rustic. Can’t beat the quiet and the fresh air. Interesting town and area to explore too, although we didn’t mind staying in most of the time! Had a great stay and will be back.

Such a beautiful location - away from the city so it's quiet and peaceful but it's also not a huge trek to get back to civilization. It's a wonderful place to stay and I can't say enough positive things about it.

The Tree Fort is an immaculately cared for home tucked into the hills of Guernville. It’s really beautiful, and the accommodations are lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, and all of the outdoor space. We enjoyed having fires in the stove every evening and they thankfully provided enough firewood to do so. The nearby town of Guernville is so lovely, visited a few restaurants and art galleries, I felt so welcomed. The people that live around here are incredibly friendly. We had a really nice experience. This house is gorgeous and we enjoyed every minute we spent within it.

This treehouse was so unique and special. The various outdoor spaces allowed us to play family games while being immersed in nature. We loved this home, the amenities, “the feel” of the home and all the special touches. We enjoyed the google home system and listened to music both indoors, and out. Our kids loved the special treats that were provided. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the Tree Fort. The pictures on the listing are great, but the place looks even better in person! We loved the modern amenities - new showers, connectivity of the speakers, amazing grill, great fireplace, lovely hot tub. Honestly, we've stayed in many places at Russian River and the Tree Fort is my favourite just because of how new and clean everything is on the inside, but it still maintains a tree house vibe. The house is spacious and the beds are soooo comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was such a great spot for a weekend at the Russian River. All of the amenities were perfect. Hot tub, BBQ, fire pit, tvs, etc. beautiful house up in the trees and only a 10 min drive to the beach. The house has everything you need, with really comfy beds furniture. Will be back for sure.

The house is well setup and peaceful, great for getting away. It is small and I'm not sure if I'd recommend it for more than four people. The outdoor deck area is very spacious and I enjoyed spending my mornings outside enjoying the peace and beauty.

Tree fort is a real treat. We loved the place - it’s a quiet place surrounded by nature. The SPA and the outdoor fireplace (perfect for some sores) are quite nice and just perfect for a getting away from the hustle.

Beautiful home, well maintained. Perfect flexcation as advertised. It’s on a private street with locals/neighbors who will notice out-of-towners and there are two dogs who seem to be quite outspoken at the end of the street (so if you have dogs that talk back to other dogs, you may want to leave them at home). Directions were clear, WiFi awesome, and the hot tub views are amazing. Recommend for singles or a couple.

My husband and I had four delightful nights at the tree fort. It was a cozy space with one bedroom on the main floor and one up a steep staircase in the loft. The third bedroom has its own entrance from the outside beneath the main floor and has its own bathroom. The neds are really comfortable. We got a lot of use out of the hot tub. The house is 5 minutes or so from town. We had a great day kayaking down the river (Burke's boat rentals) and went to the coast on a day trip as well.

We stayed in Tree Fort for 7 nights during Spring Break. The house was much better than we anticipated. Surrounded by trees, sitting on the deck, makes you feel very close to nature and a lot of mental peace. It was very clean and well managed. We loved the fire pit, the loft room and also the lower room with the bunk bed: my son called it his den! The kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans and utensils that you'd need for cooking, except a dishwasher: so be prepared. For us, lack of the dishwasher gave the opportunity to teach the kids on how to do their own dishes, so no complaints there! We used the hot tub almost everyday and it was wonderful to soak in it amidst the tall redwoods. The neighbouhood is quiet with beautiful houses and ideal for morning and evening walks. House is close to Johnson's beach (10 min drive) and Monte Rio beach (20 mins drive) so one could drive down and enjoy the riverside. Stace was very responsive to any questions and overall our stay was pleasant and we'd love to come back.

Great place to get away from it all amongst the Redwoods. Enjoyed spending time on the decks and hot tub. Even though you're close to other homes along the ridge, the fencing and bamboo made you feel as though you had your own private oasis. We brought our dog who felt right at home and the fencing allowed him to be off-leash when we were out on the deck. First time using Google Home, so that was fun telling Google what to do! Stace was very responsive and I would highly recommend staying at his home! PS even though it says there is no AC, there are wall units that kept the place super cool and comfortable!

The Tree Fort was great! It's in a nice secluded area surrounded by Redwoods. There are two huge patios with gas fireplace, hot tub, and grill. The bedroom situation: two bedrooms in the "main" house (a loft and a private bedroom), plus an "annex" with another bedroom and bathroom. It's also really close (15-20 minutes) to a ton of wineries between Guerneville and Healdsburg. Overall, a very comfortable space for four.

The tree fort is true to its name. From every window, regardless of which level you’re on, you peer into the Redwood canopy. The tech amenities allow you to have your audio needs met with a simple “hey google” so you won’t have to disrupt your zen like state. The tree fort is definitely surrounded by neighbors who also enjoy their space, so make sure you are aware you are entering into shared noise space. We had no problems with our small, chill group. Oh! Also, the neighboring goats like to chat, so be ready for some bleats and goat yelps. Well worth it for the haven that Tree Fort provides.

The property was totally like it was presented. We had a wonderful time hanging out around the Hot Tub, the fire pit and just together. I was very pleased with everything. Any issues or questions we had were quickly addressed. I would suggest anyone coming during colder times (which in Sonoma County is most nights) bring a throw blanket and warm clothes because it does get cold. It took a moment to get the hang of the Smart Functions but we figured it out. If you bring your dog, please note that there are a lot of neighbor dogs and they bark a lot, so if yours is skittish be prepared. (One of the neighbors breeds them, so there were lot of puppies around). Ours was cool with it, but we did have to bring her inside if it got to too much for her. Will for sure refer friends and come again. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hot tub among the trees was a highlight for us. The process and contact with the property management was easeful and pleasant. The space very clean and well organized and is adorable and quaint. And we loved our time in the river nearby! We happened to catch a really hot (99 degrees) day, and so the air conditioning and dehumidifier were running nonstop all night the first night which made it hard to sleep (I'm a sensitive sleeper with noises that come on and off). The next day we cooled the house well enough during the day that we could turn off the air/dehumidifier the second night which made it a quieter stay. Very workable overall!

We were a small group of best friends for over 20 years gathering to celebrate some upcoming nuptials and grieve some recent challenging events. The house was absolutely perfect setting for us to rest, reconnect, talk, laugh, cry and come home to after some delightful outings to the Russian River and a local winery. Comfy beds, beautiful views, really nice neighbors and well-stocked kitchen. We would definitely recommend it, and would love to come back!

We loved it! Parking a little tight, But we have a big truck and had the bikes on the back of it. It’s very cute and extra clean! Hot tub was great! It’s a separate entrance to the 2nd bedroom, I did not realize that from the pics. It was very nice. (no measuring cups!)

I stayed with my young daughter and dog and it was fabulous!! Such a secluded gem! The drive in is a bit scary but once you are there you know it’s worth it! Property was well stocked, great Wi-Fi and newly updated! It was hassle free to get in and the property management team was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to familiarize us with the town and activities! We will definitely be back!

We stayed for five nights with my bf and another couple plus our gaggle of dogs. The location is quiet and well equipped. Parking is very slim. The fence could use some TLC, but really did the job to contain our pups. River and beach are both close by and those redwoods does well to recharge the soul. We will definitely return. We had a lovely time at this charming property. My daughter delighted in letting the horse down the road, the hot tub was a treat and when we got cold the management company brought extra blankets. The suite was perfect for a teenage boy who has had a hard year social distancing. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at the rental. It was perfect for a couple nights by myself and then I was joined by my family and dog. The hot tub, firepit and outdoor BBQ were great additions and we enjoyed hanging out under the trees and stars. There are lots of dogs nearby so keep that in mind if your dog does not do well in that environment. It was also pretty chilly at night, the heater works great in the bedrooms but if you are a blanket person like I am, you might want to bring a few yourself. The parking spots are also very small so if you have a bigger car/truck it might be a tight fit. Overall, would for sure suggest it to others. The perfect getaway spot from the hustle and bustle.

We loved everything about our stay here. The layout allows you to be together or separate, all the bedrooms are super cozy and have everything you need. The outdoor spaces allow you to enjoy the lovely scenery and also provide a lot of additional space to hang out. We loved the hot tub which was sparkling! We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen was well-stocked. The location is great - close to many different types of destinations, including Armstrong Park, the coast and vineyards. We really enjoyed the easiness of Guerneville and had a nice dinner at Boon. We also loved driving to some of the surrounding towns. Duncan Mills was a favorite, and the cafe there has great food. The owners gave us great information and support; all the property requirements as far as check-in and check-out are very reasonable. Many great amenities and the whole property was spotless.

This is our favorite wine county stay so far. The property is secluded, surrounded by nature, in a quiet street. It is a Zen paradise. We can't wait to be back again. Thank you.

I love this cabin, just beautiful views from every window. If you love trees this is the cabin for you!! The property management also does a great job of taking care of the property. I am coming back in July for my 3rd time this year!!

My husband and I had a wonderful time in this cozy little treehouse on a hill amidst the redwoods. It's close to town on a quiet road. The house had everything we needed, though I would recommend some steak knives. The hot tub was great. We didn't use the separate bedroom downstairs. It's not connected to the rest of the house from the inside for those who plan to use it.

This place is perfect for two couples for a weekend. We loved the outdoor spaces, the proximity to the river and wineries, and the updated bathrooms. The place was sparkling clean and the property company did a wonderful job accommodating us. The kitchen does need a very necessary update since only one person can be cooking at once, a burner doesn't work, and there are some very important things missing (tongs for the bbq, wine glasses for 4). However, this didn't really impact us over the weekend other than getting creative about cooking. The hot tub was divine, and everyone slept pretty soundly! My advice would be to get rid of some of the google devices (we hardly used these and there were SO many in every room) and invest in some more kitchen essentials! Other than that very small detail, our stay was PERFECT! Would 100% stay again.

wonderful experience tucked away in the trees. Dani took care of us when we had any issues, came over right away. sweet get away for our family.

We loved the Tree House. It’s exactly that. You’re high up in the redwoods. The rooms were very comfortable too. The various decks were great for reading and the hot tub was lovely. This house had everything. Also, the owners lived nearby. I felt secure that if there was a problem, it would have been fixed immediately. I’m kind of old school, but it was nice to use the “hey google” option for the house. I would totally recommend this place and I would definitely stay there again.

Great place to get away from it all amongst the Redwoods. Enjoyed spending time on the decks and hot tub. Even though you're close to other homes along the ridge, the fencing and bamboo made you feel as though you had your own private oasis. We brought our dog who felt right at home and the fencing allowed him to be off-leash when we were out on the deck. First time using Google Home, so that was fun telling Google what to do! Stace was very responsive and I would highly recommend staying at his home! PS even though it says there is no AC, there are wall units that kept the place super cool and comfortable!

We had everything we needed. Such a peaceful place it was just what we wanted it to be . We did leave the doors of our dog crates in one of the closets. Would love to get them back we live in LA so can't just drop b

Beautiful home no question we will be going back. Stacie made everything super easy for us. We absolutely loved the privacy and perfect for our dogs to come. I run a dog hotel called Wag hotels and my pups go everywhere with me so it’s a must. I can’t wait to go back to the Tree Fort home .

The nature and landscape is breathtaking as you sit on the decks. Down below the rental is a bunch of goats that are adorable but don't seem to be active during sleeping hours. Narrow one way road up to house but never had a problem with other cars. Neighbors are super nice. GPS and phones do not work so you need to bring instructions. WIFI was great in the cabin. Dogs loved the deck and the walks we took with them. We would love to go back recommend Burkes canoe/kayak rentals because it is all down stream. The nearest rentals at a beach was nice too but you have to row up stream and then come back. On a funny note the place is computerize and some time when we told it to turn off lights it turned off water heater if this happens just ok google turn water heater on and the water was hot again about 2 hours later. It took us a while to figure it out. Super comfortable beds 3 doubles and one futon couch. We want to go back a little expensive but it was worth it.
