Our stay at Tide Pool was awesome. The views spectacular and the house was lovely. I wish there were more empty cabinets in the kitchen to store food we brought though. We would definitely stay here again!

The games room was great for the kids. We enjoyed the hot tub. The beach is very close and the weather was perfect. There was a couple dirty things like the shower curtain in the downstairs main bathroom but the majority of things were clean. There was lots of supplies and extras we forgot to bring which was very helpful. The jets in the master bedroom Jacuzzi tub do not work. I missed that in the advertisement description but the hot tub outside was very nice. I love that you can bring you dogs and our poodles loved it also. I'd say it's definitely worth 1000$ a night but would not rent again during high demand times when it's more than that.

This house was great for our family of 10. The view is spectacular. The kids loved the game room, and we all enjoyed the awesome tide pools. The path to the beach took about 3-4 minutes with some rocks at the end. It was often cool and windy, but overall, I would highly recommend the TidePool house.

Waking up every morning and having a cup of coffee with a beautiful view was so worth it. The house is very roomy and spacious. It has all the utensils and small appliances you need. Furniture and patio furniture can use some upgrades. Overall beautiful quiet beach town.

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean, kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The location and the view was fantastic! The floor plan worked great for us 3 couples. We checked in and thought we would go off exploring but never left! We hiked to the beach, had fun in the game room. Ate breakfast on the deck and enjoyed the view! We would definitely rent this home again.

We were looking for a nice house on the beach with great views, close enough to hear the waves. This home had so much more. A beautiful kitchen with everything you need, a hot tub, jacuzzi tub, nice beds, bbq, the bonus was the magnificent game room. We enjoyed all of the amenities while having family time that will hold a fabulous memory forever. We’ll be back for sure!

The view & location are amazing, the house itself is getting a bit dated and could use a refresh. Kitchen was well stocked, small appliances were older but most worked, pots/pans were in good shape & plenty of dish ware. The dishwasher door spring was not quite working so the door would not stay down. The shower values were extremely complicated which was quite surprising for a rental house. The bedrooms were definitely in need of fresh paint, you could see where there had been a leak from the upstairs bathroom into the lower bedroom and the touch up paint did not quite match. The upstairs bed had a nice mattress topper, the 2 downstairs beds could have used one too as the mattresses were quite firm. Hot tub was great and worked well, easy to operate, plenty of outdoor furniture! The garage/game room was really well stocked but we stayed in Jan when it was colder so it was really cold being in the garage w/o heaters.

The house was perfect for 10 people or less. We had three generations enjoy Thanksgiving Week together. Lots of views from this house of the ocean. Nicely appointed bedrooms all with King size beds. Largest Master Bedroom has bunk beds in walk in closet. Great room has a queen size sofa bed. Path to beach next to house and 10 minutes from house. Great house to cook in, relax and lots of adult and kid family games in garage such as ping pong, foosball. Pool and darts in garage. We didn’t drive anywhere the four days we were there.

Hot water heater, WIFI and heater in house didn’t work upon arrival. Barstools on kitchen counter are falling apart. Hot tub control panel showed service over due and some jets didn’t work, missing latches on cover, blew off in winds. Shuffleboard table legs very loose, pucks broken. Some lights didn’t work. Upstairs toilet float sticks, handle to freezer kept falling off. Many of the features on the three showers didn’t work. Your staff worked very hard to get water heater and heater fixed and we appreciated the one night comp you gave us. We had to alter our plans for the first two days due to the heat and water issues.

The perfect place to stay for a large family. Short walk to the beach is always a plus and the view was spectacular. The game room offered non stop fun for the kids while the adults could enjoy the peace and quiet in the main house. Loved watching the deer every evening at dinner time.

Thank you for inquiring about our stay.<br/><br/>We enjoyed ourselves for the 2nd time at this rental with our family. <br/><br/>The coffee maker was not working and was replaced rapidly. Thank you.<br/>One large wine glass got broken in the dishwasher, sorry.<br/><br/>It was very warm inside when we arrived, and we opened the doors to cool it down. later with all the stormy weather it got cool, and we were unable to make it as comfortable as we would like with small children. We did use the fireplace, but it did not make much change. Perhaps we didn't know how to use it properly.<br/><br/>My only real problem was the internet. It was very weak and short ranged. I set my android phone (with AT&T) to wireless but 80% of the time I had no service. I needed to communicate back home but couldn't. My daughter had an iPhone and was able to use it more often. I would hope that you could make improvement in that feature. <br/><br/>We were there when the bad storm hit. We lost power several times but adapted fine. In the morning just before we left, we noticed the barbeque was no longer on the deck and the gutter over the garage was damaged.<br/><br/>We look forward to visiting again next year.<br/><br/>Carol Bartley<br/>

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Tide Pool. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views that greeted us. The location of the house is perfect! Just a short walk to get to the beach, and the village. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is wonderful for cooking with a group. We had an issue with the BBQ not lighting and the management were right on it. They were quick to reply, so friendly and helpful. The game room was another highlight of our stay. It offered a great space for entertainment. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed gorgeous Dillon Beach sunsets on the expansive deck! We look forward to staying at Tide Pool again!

My nine family members and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The location is wonderful, we found everything we needed supplied. We were so busy we didn’t get to use the wonderful game room enough. It was an easy walk to the beach except for my over eighty self. The beds and linens were very good. The hot tub needed servicing but that was the negative. I would love to spend time there again. Family memories were made.

The house was located on a beautiful beach with easy beach access. So much to do. The house had all the games you could imagine. Kitchen was loaded with all our needs. Perfect size for hanging. The deck was beautiful and hot tub great. We would definitely go back. Thank you!!!

So much fun! We had a four day stay at "Tide Pool" and could not have been happier. First of all Wine Country to Coast were excellent resources for us and responded promptly to our needs, which were few. Description of the property on the website is reflective of what you will get when you walk into the house which was clean and inviting. Easily accommodated our 10 people comfortably, with lots of space, seating and a great kitchen (well stocked) for entertaining. The weather went from sunny and shirt sleeves to stormy, wet, and cold over the course of our stay yet we never wanted for anything as the temperature remained perfect and windows and doors were well maintained to mitigate the rain and cold temps that accompanied the storms. Game room was good although for us a bit too cold on the bad weather days. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

The living room, dining room, and kitchen area are very relaxing and beautiful full views of the ocean. Loved quick jaunt to beach right down the hill. The bed was pretty stiff in master. Showers need instructions on how to use. Jacuzzi spa in upper bedroom was not functional or if it was it was not understandable to use. The outside hot tub was very enjoyable to use and have a view of the ocean as you sat in it. Really comfortably fits 8 people as the pull out in the living room is a pain to use as both bedroom and living area each day but doable. Pictures seem to indicate the game room had a bed in it but it's the garage and then there is a loft above garage where there is another sitting room but pretty cold during winter months to use as a sitting room as above and open to garage. Garage is separate from the house. The heat was also locked so lowest could go was 62 and sometimes that was too hot for the day. Overall a nice place to use with views but layout of house would of been have been good to see online. But would use again if open as functional.

The upstairs tubs is a soaking tub only but glad you enjoyed the hot tub on the deck with that wonderful view! I reviewed our photos and don't see where they imply a bed in the game room, there is a couch for seating as guests play ping pong, pool, shuffleboard or foosball. The home heating system does stay within a certain range, but if the house is too warm during the day, opening a couple of windows or sliding doors will cool it down quickly thanks to the ocean breeze! took the family with small children and had a blast . beatiful views from the house and porch, small trail to a more private beach was next to the house . a little climb but with help you can pass the little ones down the hardest section .

This property couldn't have been more perfect for our family and to honor our parents. Location and view was amazing. Property managers were great with communication. My only recommendation is bring your own food the local store was pretty sparse.

The view is perfect. The place is perfect. Theres a TON of kitchen supplies. We were able to cook everyday we were there. The game room is fun but its really just an accent piece to a house with a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean. Absolutely plan on staying here again.

This house is amazing! We loved walking outside and down the path to the sand. What a great spot for a group that appreciates a well stocked game room and a view for miles.... The house was clean, comfortable, and as close to the beach as it gets. We can't wait to go back!

We stayed at Tide Pool for a week in March 2021. Our family had a wonderful stay. The upstairs bedroom with the small room with a bunk bed next to it was perfect for my son, daughter-in-law and there two young boys. The fact that there was a bathroom for each bedroom was very convenient. The game room was fun, but at this time of year it was cold (no heat in the game room and loft). We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The large hot tub was broken, so there was a small one person (or maybe two person) hot tub set up. <br/><br/>We highly recommend Dillon Beach Property Management. They are very responsive. The house was clean and comfortable.

The views were exceptional, location was great and the home overall was spectacular. We loved the hot tub and the game room. We had our 2 1/2 year granddaughter who spent hours w the play kitchen. One of the toilets was making noise, it was repaired immediately. Will return!!!

We spent two nights at this property with my son and family. We wished we could have stayed longer. The kids loved the game room. The access to the beach was very easy. One day I sat at the porch watching dolphins swim back and forth at a distance while my grandson braved the cold waters. The kids also enjoyed flying kites at the beach. I woke up one morning to see three deer chilling in front of the house.

What a wonderful location! Such easy access to the beach. This home was very spacious and had a lovely updated kitchen . Our favorite place was the hot tub on the back porch. <br/>The Master bath had a lovely deep jetted tub for two but unfortunately the jets would not turn on and turning on the bathroom lights kept blowing the fuse. Other than that the house was great and the bonus room with ping pong, shuffleboard and pool table was lots of fun!

The property management team was excellent - someone ALWAYS picked up the phone or called back soon. Same good response with emails. We had a problem with an electrical breaker for the hot tub and they had help out at the house within about an hour.<br/><br/>Ocean views from the living room, deck, and hot tub were spectacular. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything worked well. The game room ping pong table, pool table, and shuffleboard were all in functional working order although definitely not brand new.<br/><br/>A minor point that would make the property more "senior friendly" - please trim the iceplant by the steps down from the driveway so we can reach the handrail more easily.<br/><br/>Not a complaint - just an FYI for future guests - the beach trail beside the house might be risky for seniors or young children especially after a rain when it is slippery. There are some steep drops in spots where the trail narrows. But it is only a walk or short drive of several blocks to easy beach access with paid parking.<br/><br/>Highly recommended!

We had a terrific time with our kids and grand-kids (ages 2-8). Close enough to the beach that we could easily get to the sand, but not so close that we worried about a toddler sneaking out and getting to the water alone. The large open family room area was great for congregating - we could easily see the little kids from the kitchen & dining table. <br/>The BBQ grill is large enough to accommodate a lot of food. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, glasses, pans, paper towels, etc. <br/>The playroom equipment is a little battered, but it was still fun. The toddler play kitchen was a big hit with our gang!!<br/>Bring your own hairdryer if you need one.

The proximity to the trail to the beach is good, but creates a lot of foot traffic. Not terribly private, and hot tub has no "privacy" either. Wish the deck were enclosed so children (and pets) could be out there. All guests complained their beds were hard and uncomfortable; probably time to replace the mattresses. Kitchen was GREAT the radiant floor heat amazing too.Number of bathrooms and how beautiful they were was certainly a plus.<br/>

The proximity to the trail to the beach is good, but creates a lot of foot traffic. Not terribly private, and hot tub has no "privacy" either. Wish the deck were enclosed so children (and pets) could be out there. All guests complained their beds were hard and uncomfortable; probably time to replace the mattresses. Kitchen was GREAT the radiant floor heat amazing too.Number of bathrooms and how beautiful they were was certainly a plus.<br/>

Fantastic house. So much to do. Pathway easy down to beach but it's not safe if you have leg,hip issues. Careful if you have dogs. I noticed there are foxtails everywhere on the property and on the streets. Too hilly to ride bikes for little ones but one street over has 2 level cul de sac and safe area to ride around. Great natural air conditioning if you're sick of inland 105 degree weather!#

Every October we have rented this home for a family vacation. The location to the beach is perfect... the sunsets are amazing and to put it simply every year when we walk through the doors it feels like we are returning to our own home! Over the years; we have lost family pets that have come to Dillon with us and added grandchildren and even had a proposal on the deck this year! Everyone in the family loved the experience. The location was superb. The house was large and inviting. The kitchen was perfect for several cooks. We had A great time at A great place.The location was perfect, only about A 5 min. walk to the beach.When we arrived the house was warm and music was playing. The drapes were open and it was like walking into our home.The next day I was called to see if every thing was in order, . How nice. We will be back.<br/>

What's not to love? A beautiful luxury home with stella views and attentive staff. I took up the recommendation to use Cyndee the professional massage therapist and she melted us into peaceful bliss. A great get away from phones and any stress. Three nights were perfect.

We arrived at 3:00 promptly to check in for our stay at Tide Pool. We entered our code in to the lock box, got the key and opened the door to a beautiful very clean house! Everything about our experience was super smooth. The email/cell phone communication was great. The house was even better and exceeded our expectations, inside and out. We had a great time! We will absolutely book again! All you need to bring are towels for the hot tub, and your special oils, and spices to cook with ( the confirmation letter we received before we arrived told us this so we came prepared!) Thanks again for an awesome, memorable family experience!!!! Definitely good times!!!

Tide Pool was even more beautiful in person. The house was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook for a family. The highlight for my family were the dolphins and whale. We watched all afternoon from the deck. The dolphins were there all week. I will not hesitate to vacation there again.

The house was amazing and the location perfect. The property management company was very helpful when we needed to get the propane filled for the grill.<br/>The only negative issue is that all the beds need an upgrade. The mattresses were hard and pretty uncomfortable. Other than that, we all had a great time and would love to come back next year.

First of all I want to give Dillon Beach Property Management a big thumbs up for the service they provide! It was a pleasure to deal with them in setting up our vacation rental. The home itself is well appointed and very clean. The location is unbeatable with a direct ocean view and a trail down to the beach. A restaurant is within walking distance as well. Most of the shopping and more restaurants are located in Bodega Bay, which is approximately 30 minutes away but with a home like this we didn't have the urge to leave the property for too long. There is a ping pong table, air hockey table and pool table in the garage and a hot tub on the deck. The ping pong paddles could use replacing and the air hockey table is probably on its last legs but that is the extent of my suggestions for improvement.

The House was ready for us when we arrived. The view from the front room and porch is spectacular, and the trail to the beach was literally straight in front of the deck. Tide Pool is a beautiful, spacious house right on the bluff overlooking the long golden sands of Dillon Beach. We were two couple and a dog, and there was still plenty of room in the house. The house is very well maintained and the wrap round view of the beach is stunning. A very short walk (less than 5 'ins) down the convenient path to the side of the house takes you right to the sand. Dillon Beach and Tide Pool are both dog friendly. <br/>The property management company were extremely helpful and very organised. They made our entire stay very easy and relaxing.<br/>Tide Pool is a great house for a couple or larger group looking to relax and soak up all the natural beauty of Dillon Beach and its coastline. I would definitely stay here again!<br/>

This vacation home is in the perfect location. Just steps to the beach, with beautiful views. Listen to the waves sing all night long. Called for one bit of help, and Dale was there right away. The views of the ocean were stunning, the stars were outstanding! 45 minutes takes you from the sea, to the redwoods, to Sonoma Country, to Lagunitas Tap Room, to fantastic restaurants, and of course, small town festivals! Always returning to peace and serenity at Tide Pool.

This is our second stay at the Tide Pool. The house comfortably fit our party of 7. You cannot beat the location which gives beautiful views and easy access to the beach below. The house is stocked with everything needed to enjoy your stay. We also highly recommend the hike at the end of Oceana Drive in the neighborhood. Head out toward the ocean and follow the path along the cliffs to a beautiful private beach area. It was one of the prettiest walks we have ever done. We also enjoyed the little restaurant at Dillon Beach..the only one in town! We would definitely stay here a third time!

We had a great time and the home has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. My only complaint is that the house was listed to sleep 10 persons but it is good for three couples not four. One of our guests slept on what they called a pull out which was like a Futon. No privacy at all and very uncomfortable. The twin bunk beds are in a room directly off of the master bedroom upstairs so if you have children that is great for them to be near parents. The trail to the beach is adjacent to the home so it is very easy access to the beach.

Great house, close by beach. Beware that the path is a bit treacherous, but that made it fun and even our 5 year old could handle it fine. <br/><br/>Big advantage: a double-sized garage with a pool table, ping pong, air hockey, and even a poker table. Our grandkids loved this option, particularly since the weather was chilly so all-day beaching was not an option. Also, great hot tub. These amenities plus the extraordinary beauty of Dillon Beach and a great house setup made it a terrific vacation. Another great feature was the layout of the rooms: our kids who have 5 children stayed on the top floor, with its own bathroom plus beds for everyone. on the main floor was a bedroom with bath for our son and his family (one infant) and another bedroom with its own bath for my husband and myself.

We stayed here for our annual New Year's getaway and were not disappointed. Fantastic views, a short walk to the beach, and lovely accommodations. We will definitely be back! :)

No better location in Dillon Beach. A beautiful, comfortable, updated house with all the amenities. The kids loved it, too.

First off....I must state that we've rented homes in Dillon Beach for approximately seven years and this home is our new favorite! The location was perfect for our daily trips down to the beach. We were able to walk easily down the path and even my parents (who are in their early 70's made it down with some help!). The property has a very nice deck with a BBQ, hot tub and a nice sized table that we used daily for meals! The inside of the house is very well equipped. All of the bedrooms (2 downstairs and the master upstairs)had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped with utensils, coffee maker, blender, etc....<br/>There are many flat screen TV's and they have Directv so we were able to watch our football games!!! We only used the game room a couple times and they do have pool, ping pong and foosball but most of the tables were older and not in great condition!<br/>All in was a perfect place to celebrate my parent's 49th wedding anniversary! We had everything we needed, the house is located in a PERFECT location for our daily beach trips AND most is dog friendly! We'll definitely be back!!

Just remember to bring groceries! Local store was extortion--$7.50 for tub of vanilla ice cream. Bring fleece too. SF summer fog can be cold.

This place was absolutely wonderful! The view and walk down to the beach made me think of some novels that I've read. The house had everything we needed in great condition. The beach below is so beautiful and easy to access. There are deer that visit the neighborhood each evening. We were close to Point Reyes Seashore, Bodega Bay, and a short drive to the wine country. We would definitely rent this house again!
