We had a lovely 2 night stay at this cottage. The master bedroom and living area access without stairs was great for my aging parents. The deck with grille and fire pit was great for our family dinner.<br/><br/>There was some extra charge conflict issue when we first booked, but the host company quickly responded and identified their mistake and refunded the extra charge.

We were 5 middle-aged women from 4 different states across the country arriving for a weekend reunion. The house was perfect for us. There was plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had every pot and pan and utensil that we needed (and we cooked several times.) The location was just a few minutes from the river (free parking after 3:30!), the redwood park and the cute shops and bars in town. Our only issue was that the house next door was being renovated and work started at 6:45 am on Saturday but that will presumably be a short term thing. Otherwise, we loved our stay here.

Our family of six had a very enjoyable stay. The beds were all comfortable; the kitchen had plenty of essential gadgetry; and there were a variety of quiet corners (indoors and on the balconies) to sit aside and read or whittle. The place was just far enough off the beaten path, deeply nestled within the shade of the redwoods while still close enough to town for a rigorous walk.

Clean house, as described, kitchen was well-stocked. FYI there is only a K-cup coffee maker. The beds were comfy and there were thoughtful touches around the house. As others have said, the spiral staircases to go between the two floors might be tough for someone with limited mobility, or if your dog is afraid to go down stairs.

This is a great house with a beautiful wooded backyard. Lots of room and everything is decorated nicely. House is very clean. Kitchen is loaded with everything you need. Dog friendly decks with a tiny yard area. Very close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Check in is easy, host is responsive. We loved our stay here!

House easily accommodated our family of adults + children. The yard/deck is fully fenced and house has all the basic necessities. We couldn’t find your typical coffee pot, just pods and a french press ~ didn’t bother us, just something to note.

I stayed here with a group of four friends for the weekend. The house was really clean, and well stocked. And the host responded pretty quickly to all my questions. The location is nice and within walking distance to downtown (about a mile). It was a great stay and I could see myself booking it again.

Stace's place is the perfect home for a weekend trip. Myself and 7 of my friends all stayed there and it was cozy yet we didn't feel crowded. I really liked how all the rooms have access to the deck. One of my friend's also mentioned how she was impressed by cleanliness of the floors were so if you hate shoes and socks this is the place.Stace had great communication when I had to make changes or had questions about the home prior to the stay. She went above to help make things work.Overall I'd highly recommend this place due to the convenience of the location and how it's just a good place for 8 good friends to hangout and enjoy a weekend.

We had a wonderful stay in the redwoods!!! This place exceeded our expectations and was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. There was plenty of space in the house, comfy beds, thoughtful touches, and 2 awesome patios to enjoy the surrounding nature! We hardly left because we enjoyed being in the space so much. The porch is amazing and it was magical to just be among the redwoods. We really enjoyed the cozy stove as well. Everyone had great sleeps and the place was clean. Would definitely come back.

Wonderful, cozy home conveniently located less than a mile from downtown. Comfortable beds and seating, well-equipped kitchen and two large bathrooms. We especially appreciated the wood-burning stove, stained glass window and views of the redwoods from the spacious decks. The spiral staircase leading to the two lower bedrooms was slightly challenging for some folks in our party but we got used to it and it’s a quick trip up and down. The property managers left a lovely welcome basket and were quick to respond when we had a minor issue. Would stay again and recommend!

We had so much fun at the Summit Sanctuary. The check in process was super easy and the house was tastefully decorated. I didn’t see a kayak but we took advantage of the games provided.

This is a very well run property. The cleaning and set up were great. There is public access to the river directly across the highway. It’s close to town but out in the trees the primary bedroom is huge and very comfortable. There is also a great grill.

Really enjoyed our stay here—the deck under the trees was such a beautiful place to share meals and there was plenty of room to comfortably sleep 5 adults.

We stayed three nights in the house. It was perfect for my husband and I and two teenagers, as well as our dog. The house was cozy and clean. It had everything we needed. Getting to town was easy.

This house is a very comfortable and well-maintained retreat surrounded by redwoods but with a sunny deck. It’s quite close to town and directly across from public river access. The kitchen is well equipped and there’s a great Weber grill for cooking in, It’s also easy to get to a number of restaurants from the house. The main bedroom is very spacious and the other bedrooms also ample, with deck access. The space is well laid out for a group or large family, but still cozy. The housekeeping and set up ahead of time was superior to other places I’ve stayed.

My family had a great time. Centrally located to everything. Ocean, river for fishing, and casinos for gaming. Rented many properties and can say this is the best yet. The house was excellent and well maintained. I will rent this one again......

The house was perfect, super clean, well furnished & pretty much every amenity needed was provided. Great location, even though you are in a neighborhood the house feels secluded, and the layout allows plenty of room for people to spread out and find a quiet corner for themselves. <br/><br/>Property description is very accurate online.<br/>Property was very clean & well maintained.<br/>Hosts were great, lots of information was left for us regarding the house and its use.<br/>Would rent this home again.<br/>Cafe & new restaurant located a very short walk away, town is a bit further but still an easy walk. Access to the river is a short walk away (a few minutes at most).

The house was perfect for the family - including grandma and 2 kids. Very clean and comfy. Loved the record player and the wood-burning stove. Close to town although not ideal to walk along the highway to get there. The only issue was there weren't warm blankets and the nights were chilly. The management company brought more blankets but they were very thin.

We had an amazing long weekend stay at Summit Sanctuary. The neighborhood is quiet and close to town with gorgeous redwoods surrounding the home making every window picturesque. The BBQ is fantastic and the deck is sunny and lovely to sit and work or relax. WiFi works great; we were able to work and relax in rustic luxury. Communication from the management is excellent. Thanks for the lovely stay!!!
