We stayed in this very cute cottage. The outdoor decks were especially charming and was a great opportunity to sit outside in the trees. The property was perfect. The only downside was getting up that narrow road. It can be especially difficult in the rain.

This is a great place for a couple looking for a sweet escape in the Redwoods. The house was small but had everything one would need to be comfortable. Although there are houses nearby, the community is quiet and the house is designed for privacy; you are surrounded by the beauty of the forest. The multi-level deck, hot tub, fire table, and the setting made us want to spend as much time in this magical place as possible, although we enjoyed the town of Guerneville, the Russian River (there is a sweet local beach within walking distance), and Armstrong Woods. We would definitely come back to this place!

The living accommodations were nice, clean and cozy. There was a gas heater for cold nights and a ceiling fan for warm afternoons. The hot tub was perfect for two adults to relax infinitely! My only complaint would be that the brita water pitcher was a little dingy and the filter had mold on it. Easy enough to fix, but felt I should mention it for future visitors.

This was the most relaxing spot for an intimate getaway. The cottage was sweet and cozy but we spent most of the weekend in the hot tub and out on the two patios watching the chickadees and relaxing under the trees and stars. Tucked into a quiet and inviting forest neighborhood we felt very at home and isolated at the same time. We will be back soon.

A darling cottage in a beautiful grove of redwoods. 2 decks, one outside the kitchen to enjoy your meals, the other to enjoy lounge chairs to sit & read or enjoy afternoon wine all the while enjoying being surrounded by incredible foliage , redwoods, squirrels and many varieties of local birds..... and the quiet was amazing! The bed was great... the kitchen was stocked and ready to fix full meals. The bathroom was small and would be better if there was a self or two but had a great shower with good water pressure. The only thing missing was a closet and no luggage racks! So prepare to live out of your suitcase. It didn’t matter... we just spent more time in the darling spa looking up at the trees! A great get away....loved it!!!

Just as the title says, we had a (nother) lovely weekend staying at this cabin in Guerneville. This was our second time and we see no reason as to why there won't be a third. The hot tub is clean and private, the decks and beautiful and the proximity to town is perfect for us. The cabin is cozy and well appointed. The fact that they accept pets is a real plus. Thank you!

Cozy and intimate setting in a canopy of trees. Lovely cottage in the redwoods. It was very private with terraced gardens and a hot tub! Cottage has a comfy bed and a very handy kitchen with all you need. We really enjoyed our selves at this special hideaway. Our cocker spaniel, Nina was at home here. It was peaceful and quiet. Totally recommend this cottage. Streets are narrow and hilly, parking tight but doable. Give it a try, you’ll be glad you did!!!

This property was fairly easy to find. The streets are VERY narrow and almost all streets in that little neighborhood are at a crazy grade. Proceed with caution and have a good emergency brake for parking. I advise that you arrive in daylight as I imagine it would be difficult to find this property - where to park, which gate to enter through - at night. The cottage was very clean and welcoming. Thank you for having the lights on and blues music coming from the TV. Everything outside was hosed off. The deck is the best part. It is extremely charming!! Water features, art work, expansive deck, canopied in trees, hot tub - very zen. Kitchen has everything you need. Bed is super comfy and clean. When you wake in the morning, you can't wait to get back out on that deck. Thank you for our great stay and we will be back.

My fiancee and I stayed at the Guerneville Cottage for a long weekend and loved the cottage. It's built for two people and is very romantic. When sitting on the deck, you feel totally isolate in the redwoods and the smell of pine. It's close to wine tasting and the beaches of Sonoma County. My only "be aware" point is that the cottage is nestled among narrow, one lane streets that can be slippery with leaves and sticks.

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Self contained and with extras such as fire table and hot tub. Private and quiet, it was a wonderful way to enjoy being in the middle of the forest.Guerneville is an amazing little town with some excellent restaurant offerings. We both really enjoyed Brot and Boon (two separate establishments). The day we left, we went to Tamales Bay and had lunch at Nick’s Cove where we indulged in baked oysters that had a zippy barbecue sauce. So delicious! We look forward to coming back and perhaps staying a little longer.

This cute studio cottage was perfect for my mushrooming retreat. The two-level outdoor deck provided a wonderful new-ish hot tub that was really hot, and a well-lit area for hanging out outside, including lovely reclining chairs; the inside was small but so well thought through that you had everything you needed. The decor was cute and skylights made you feel like you were in a treehouse. I did have to call the service because the Keurig and grill were not working but the handyman came quickly and was able to get things to work. The Keurig was not properly plugged in and the ignition in the grill was broken. Other than these minor issues everything was about as perfect as possible. I was not happy with having to sign a lengthy legal release from the rental company separate and apart from VBRO's terms and conditions. I paid before the waiver was sent to me for review and signature, and it is a very one-sided document. I thought it was unprofessional for the company to send this huge release after they had already accepted payment. I am not sure if this is standard in California but i had not experienced it before.

I think we can chalk this up to user error for each "Issue" you encountered but we continued to respond to All of your calls. The "No hot water" was because you had the cold water turned on.

This was the perfect spot for two people to enjoy quite tranquility in the forest. There are neighbors all around, but we did not hear very much noise the whole time. The hot tub was great. They do have all the basic cooking utensils and spices, but I would recommend bringing cooking oil or spray. The location is nearby the river, restaurants and grocery store.

My husband and I enjoyed 2 nights in this cozy cabin getaway. The rain on the skylights, the two-seater hot tub, the gorgeous redwood surroundings. Surprisingly comfortable bed, and large flat-screen made it a challenge to get out of bed, but worth it for the meal at boon on the main drag in town.

The cottage is very nicely decorated and well cared for. It has a nice little kitchen you can actually cook in. Although you are just a few minutes from the town of Guerneville and you have neighbors, you feel very secluded. You are surrounded by trees and quiet. The deck with hot tub is also quite private. It’s a romantic get away.

The deck is what make this property so great. It was so peaceful to relax on with the fire, read booksand drink wine. The little studio is cozy and well kept. <br/> Had a relaxing weekend. We did have an issue with Comcast cable. It worked fine on Friday evening and the rest of the weekend, it was just "lines" across the screen. We were able to stream with our apps, so maybe it was an outage problem.

Great little cottage, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Walked into the lights on, music playing. The cottage is very small, but well set up. Perfect for a couple or single traveler. Only thing i would suggest is bring a flashlight, so if you are out in the hot tub and the lights go out you can find your way back safely. Loved the little cottage, would absolutely return!

The pictures don't do this place justice. Very quiet and beautifully landscaped. The mornings on the deck with our coffee and locally made pastries was wonderful. The birds would come down and take a bath in the fountain. Very soothing and stress free. The evenings in the jacuzzi was fantastic. I highly recommend this place. The streets are a little tricky to navigate, but that keeps the neighborhood quite, no cars driving by.

This cottage in the redwoods is absolutely amazing! Even though it's nestled in a small hillside neighborhood, you'd never know it while sitting on the deck. You're enveloped by the redwoods and sounds of nature. While the cottage is on the small side (think studio style - one room), it was plenty for my wife and I. We spent most of our time outside anyway. It was perfectly distanced between the ocean and wine country. If you're looking for a place in wine country - this isn't the place. It's a 30-45 minute drive to the heart of Sonoma/Napa. But if you're looking to getaway and visit wine country, I heartily recommend the Guerneville Cottage.

Cozy, intimate setting in a canopy of tall redwood trees. Cozy cottage, beautiful decks in a terraced yard with a wonderful hot tub. The cottage had everything you needed, a very comfortable bed and a well-stocked and functional kitchen. It was very peaceful and quiet. The property owners were very kind and helpful. It was great to bring our dog with us. The cottage was very clean and well-kept up. It was close to Jenner, which gave us a opportunity to enjoy the ocean. Be sure to follow the directions. The roads are narrow and the parking is tight but well worth the effort. Looking forward to going back again!

One room studio. Small, but functional. Full kitchen. Comfy (queen??) bed. Only true downside was the shower is very small -- might not work for a larger human, and there was a slant to the flooring. But nothing we couldn't deal.<br/><br/>Very lovely deck area - a true Zen vibe. Great 2 person hot tub. Cozy areas to sit and have my morning coffee / read. Very quiet neighborhood, which we liked. <br/><br/>Location right near downtown. Parking definitely tight....we had a Sequoia with a bike rack that's about all that would fit.<br/><br/>

It was a little difficult to locate since no house number posted & addresses are inconsistent on this street. Directions on website are incorrect. Another small thing was that website indicated gas BBQ at this cottage, but it was charcoal so we weren't prepared with briquets. Loved our getaway though, & will definitely be back!<br/>

We came up to get away from everything for a couple days. This little cottage is nestled in the gorgeous redwoods, and the hot tub and deck are just perfect to relax. The cottage is perfect for 2 people and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets were luxurious!!<br/>The location is perfect to go visit the redwoods, hop over to Bodega Bay or go to the wineries.<br/>We truly loved this little gem, and will definitely be back!!

Our stay at the Guerneville Cottage was beyond what we expected. It was, to say the least, perfect! If you are looking for the perfect, romantic weekend this is the place. I felt like I was in a tree house in the woods and far away from the real world. We had the perfect kitchen to cook our meals and then the best background ever to eat outside. The hot tub was the icing on the cake!! I can't wait to stay here again, or better yet, to see what other rentals properties we get to check out what Dillon Beach Property Mgmt has to offer!! The Gurneville Cottage was the perfect little getaway for my wife and I for our anniversary. They gave a bottle of champagne to celebrate as well. We loved how peaceful and private it was, the place had a really cool feel to it and spa just topped it off. Would stay there again for sure.

My partner, our two big dogs and myself enjoyed a weekend at the cottage. Short drive to downtown Guernville where there are lots of places to explore and good food to be found. The studio cottage is setup well with very nice amenities. The bed was super comfy and all linens were cozy. We made breakfast and a dinner at the cabin and had everything we needed for simple prep. Overall we really enjoyed the weekend.

We rented this little cabin to have a quiet, peaceful getaway for my 40th birthday. The cabin is small, but cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make dinner. The outside space private, and the hot tub was great! It was the perfect retreat for two!

We loved this place. The yard space and hot tub really helped make this little cottage feel spacious and the trees provided a great balance of sun and shade. Amazing how quiet the neighborhood is and, in spite of it being dotted with other homes, you feel surprisingly secluded - awesome space to getaway from it all...if even for just a few days. We'll be back!

This was an absolutely lovely weekend getaway experience - for my husband's and my anniversary. We loved it. So did our dog! <br/>The owners / property managers had thought of everything - absolutely everything we needed in the kitchen was there. We brought groceries and were able to cook and just stay put the whole weekend. Beautiful location and quaint little clean, romantic cottage.

Adorable cottage. Very well provisioned and absolutely spotless. It was quite cold during our stay, so we didn't spend much time on the spacious deck. The interior has just one lounge chair, but we solved that problem by bringing in a light weight padded patio chair from the deck. Voila! Comfortable seating for both us as we enjoyed some wine and conversation.

I had been looking for a peaceful place for a personal retreat and this property was perfect for that. The moment I stepped through the redwood gate, I felt I had entered a very private woodsy world without being that far from other homes. Two decks with lovely sitting areas would have been tempting for the summer, but being winter I spent more time sitting in a comfortable little chair beside the gas run pot bellied stove. I did use the hot tub on the deck at night which was well cared for and sited with beautiful lights. I loved the kitchen which was new looking and had large windows looking out into the trees like a tree house. In every way it was just what suited my needs. The only minor problem, was that the roads getting to the house were narrow, very steep, and a bit confusing at first, but it was well worth the effort.

Perfect cabin in the woods for 2 (and one big dog who loved walking with us down to the off leash river access down the hill). This place was amazing - charming, thoughtful touches everywhere, private, and just beautiful. Walkable to the river and to some restaurants (if you are ok walking hills). Not right in town but that was ok for us. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I stayed here for her birthday weekend. We spent a day tasting wine and a day out on the coast. This little house was a perfect place to return to at night. The hot tub was great way to end the day and the trees were a nice escape from the warm summer day. I picked this rental on my own and my very picky wife was extremely pleased. I highly recommend this place for a getaway. <br/><br/>P.S. We loved Gary Farrell and Matrix and also highly recommend Hop Kiln and Thomas George.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had selected the right start to our vacation. It was such a quaint cottage. Beautiful decor and comfy bed. Especially loved the fireplace which was actually the working heat for the cottage. We were in the area to tour the coast and the Sonomoa wine area. Both were so easy to reach from the cottage.

Guerneville Cottage is charming and romantic; I felt like I was sleeping in the middle of the woods - very quiet location yet a short drive to town. The cottage had nice kitchen space and dishes/cooking utensils, etc so that we could enjoy cooking on the days that we didn't want to eat out. The hot tub was wonderful. Definitely a great place for a couple to stay; I was sad to leave.

The Guerneville Cottage is one of the best places for an authentic R & R experince. From the moment we drove up the hill I knew it was a place to rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit. The location is ideal. Whether for short trips to the beach for a solitude walk or an afternoon of lunch and shopping in nearby Sonoma, Napa, Sebastapol or Petaluma. The town itself is charming and a walk through the Armstrong Woods is not to be missed. The cottage itself is a lovely, peaceful place to reurn to after each outing. The occassional soak in the hot tub was certainly an added benefit to our weray bones. We can't wait to return and highly recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a place to truly rejuvenate one's soul. Thanks so much for the experience, we will remember it fondly for a very long time.
