The place was lovely. I would suggest getting the ant issue and spider issue under control as there were a lot of both. Also, for my ESA (registered with the VA) I would suggest letting dog owners know that the nearby beach as well as the three beaches north are not dog friendly.

The house was cozy and well appointed. For the most part we enjoyed our stay. However, there was a drip in the shower that was very annoying particularly in the smaller bedroom. I called to arrange maintenance and was told someone would stop by. I spoke to the man who was to stop by and he did not have the equipment to repair the drip and said he would pass the information on to the correct person. I never heard any more from the number I called and no one came to fix the drip.<br/>There was only one sheet on the bed in the master bedroom. We had to sleep between the bottom sheet and the blanket. That didn't seem right.

Wonderfully relaxing spot on the Sonoma Coast with tons of charm.

Well-stocked kitchen but stove could use some repairs or replacement (burners required match to light, flame created greasy soot on bottom of pans, oven would not light at all). Beds very comfy and luxurious. Decor apropos of a beach house (though a few things, like the sofa seat cushion and the laundry ‘shed’ needed deep cleaning) and very comfortable. Just steps to the beach and lots of seabirds where the creek meets the ocean. Exterior could use a few repairs and sprucing up but there were plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy the sun and sea air. Aside from the tsunami advisory...we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return next time our travels take us to this part of California.

Fisherman’s Cottage was a very cozy, comfortable place to stay. It had a definite coastal feel to it. Nicely decorated with a very relaxed feel to it. We would definitely stay here again.

The Cottage was way cool. Proximity to the beach a five minute walk. <br/>Everything about the Cottage was as advertised. Small, but cozy, with a very adequate master bedroom. Particularly liked being a bit North of the congestion in town.

Nice little fishing cottage close to a beach. Bring the beach chairs and some beer and snack. Even when the weather is foggy and gray, sitting on the beach and listening to the waves is always relaxing. The cottage has a nice bed, a full kitchen and great dining area. We did not use the observations deck as it was too foggy but on a clear night it is without a doubt awesome.Make sure you bring printed or saved instructions. We had no cell coverage outside the the house so good thing I wrote down the lock box code.The next decent sized grocery store is quite some ways away, so it probably pays to stop for supplies before you get there.

This is my second visit to Fisherman's Cottage and we loved it. The cottage is charming and the location is perfect for a quiet get-away, but also close enough to do some exploring in the area. <br/>We would like to suggest that guests are notified of garbage day (we were not prepared the morning of the trucks arrival and parked too close to the walkway, making it hard for them to gather the bins. We also had a bit of an ant issue on the counter at the stove near the refrigerator. (Not a major issue, but we realized we couldn't leave food out). We loved using the fireplace and appreciate easy directions on use. We would suggest that 1-2 boxes of facial tissue be available for your guests. Also, in the second bedroom, the switches for the above beds lights were reversed(lots of cords and extensions) so the first night the light was left on as the switch could not be located. (the light above the bed closest to the window did not work)...I loved the main bedroom! The heated mattress pad was fantastic and the bed was super comfortable! We enjoyed everything, even ventured up to the crows nest to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Great time....thanks

The cottage was lovely and very comfortable for our family of four. Walking to the dunes, river and beach was so so close and convenient!

The Fisherman's Cottage was clean and cozy. Close to town and within walking distance to the beach and Salmon Creek. Great amenities. Enjoyed our stay.

Great safe location, walk or drive to parking lot, easy sandy beach access for all ages and quiet neighborhood. Felt at home. Would recommend and stay again.

This charming cottage is a great home base central to Bodega Bay beach life. Loved coming back from a day of exploring to simply relax on the beach & in the cottage. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was the absolute best! All the comforts of home at our fingertips. The only problem was we didn’t stay longer! Highly recommend this gem to anyone wanting to escape city life for rest, relaxation & exploration
