We had the best three-day family getaway to the Russian River, which was made particularly special by our stay at Dhyana. Our family of four (and pup) felt right at home! The house was so cozy and clean, with a great layout and many thoughtful touches throughout (i.e. a toothbrush & toothpaste package that came in handy when realizing I forgot to pack one!). Our kids absolutely loved the arcade room, board games and ping pong table. We roasted s’mores on the fire pit table, cooked dinners in the well-appointed kitchen and played games in the dining area (while taking turns choosing songs from the working jukebox — so fun!). A short walk through the peaceful neighborhood brings you to a small private beach, and the house is just a few minutes’ drive into town. They even supplied a wagon, chairs & picnic blankets for the beach. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the view of the towering redwoods above us through the skylights. Would absolutely stay again!

I've stayed in Airbnb listings all over the world and I have to say that this was probably the most pristinely kept that I have ever experienced. It was clean, organized and very thoughtfully appointed right down to the amenities like ear plugs (no need it's very quiet but it's a nice touch), eye covers (skylights in 2 of the bedrooms) packaged toothbrushes and toothpastes, Q-Tips...it was better equipped than most hotels! Every time we were looking for something, we found it. I'm a bit picky about cleanliness and I instantly felt very at ease. Also, I appreciated that although it felt pristine, it didn't feel cold or barren. All the furnishings and decor were warm and homey. My sister and I had a wonderful weekend with our mom and we almost never left the house! Thank you Stace!!

Two friends and I stayed for a couple nights at Dhyana and it was even better than advertised. Location was great: 5 min drive from town, 20 min walk. and the property is very well cared for. I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and had just about everything I needed to do some baking during my visit. The arcade games were fun, as were the two jukeboxes. The property management company was excellent. I usually never have to call a management company with issues but I did this time because I was having a problem getting the heater on the deck lit (there's two outside heaters, a column + the fire table). The property team was super helpful getting it running with me, they clearly knew the house inside out.Everyone agreed we'd gladly rent this property again. We loved it.

Our family of four (two adult kids, my husband and me) stayed here for a long weekend and it was more than we could have hoped for. It was clean, comfortable, and just the right size. There are so many options for spending time together: playing cornhole, sitting outside under the redwoods, making family dinners, and talking near the cozy fireplace. Our dog loved sleeping in front of the fireplace and he also had a fenced in yard. The location is super close to the river, and an easy drive to the downtown area. Loved the bookstore in town, by the way. Staying at Dhyana amidst the trees was something we won't forget.

This is a beautiful, well-maintained home situated in a lovely, quiet neighborhood with beautiful Redwood trees.. It has a large fenced backyard and the front yard can be fenced as well by closing the gate. The fireplace does a great job heating the house. The decks are a great place to lounge and chat. The best part of the house are the beds! Wonderful, comfortable mattresses made for sweet dreams! The property manager was great to work with and responded to all inquiries almost immediately. I’d definitely stay here again.

An adorable cottage in the woods with all the kitchen amenities you need as well as all the board games and video games your kids could wish for... There's a bubbled skylight in every room letting you experience the redwoods towering high above. The property was well maintained and when we did have small issues related to the fireplace insert, the rental agency was friendly and quick to resolve the issues (same day).

The house was a true pleasure to stay in. Very clean and well-amenitized. They had thought of nearly everything a family would want for a Russian River getaway. Tons of thoughtful touches like skylights over the beds, which meant we woke up to a view of redwoods towering above our heads. Convenient access to all the activities we had planned for the week. Absolutely lovely place! Peaceful, well decorated with lots of fun treats, and thoughtful little details. It was a quick walk to the river and a short drive to town with great food. The pictures are spot on but even they don’t do it justice. Our host was proactive and helpful. Everything went perfect and we hope to be back soon.

Of the many visits to Guerneville, this is the best rental yet. The pictures posted are accurate and the proximity to where we can launch the kayaks into the river was close to the house and mostly flat. It was a short stroll from the house. We really enjoyed all the amenities, especially the jukeboxes and the upstairs bathroom. The layout of the house makes it very cozy and conducive to interacting. Stace was very responsive to our questions and needs. The kids said that it felt more like a hotel with the extra touches. We would stay here again.

Really cute and bigger than it seems in the pictures place. The decorations are from some hardcore Disney and vintage 80's style stuff and we dug it! The kitchen was stocked with spices and dishes, including a ton of kid plates, cups and utensils. Thank you! Two bedrooms have skylights sooooo if you need darkness to sleep, you might find this hard--it was for our kids--even with the adorable sleep masks provided for us. 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the main floor; go down the stairs for the second toilet and shower, along with a garage game room. The arcade is upstairs. Cute place and super nice hosting experience--would recommend!

My side of the family had a reunion in Guerneville this last week. We rented two separate houses and Dhyana was one of them. This property is lovely all around. The house is comfortable and beautiful; the yard was perfect for our dogs, and the property provided all the gear that we needed for our trips to the river. The property management group was responsive and easy to communicate with as well. I would definitely recommend this property to others and would happily stay here again.

We stayed here with some friends and family and our dogs. Everyone loved the place. It's in a great location near town but also has very nice surroundings, upgrades, and all the amenities.

Very well stocked and appointed home. ALL the toys you need to enjoy the river or just hang out at the home. Very nice bedrooms with comfy beds. Bath in the basement is okay but nothing fancy, upstairs bath is very nice. Kitchen has everything you need. Great places to eat in town if you do t want to cook. We really enjoyed drinking the wine we bought each day by the fire table. Great location for wineries, coast, river. Very quiet neighborhood. Armstrong state park was beautiful. Great place and location.

We really loved our stay at Dhyana! We were sharing the home with another family and it was so well set up for the adults to actually have a conversation together, while the kids enjoyed the games inside and out. I especially loved sitting out under the redwood trees, on the front deck. Loads of thoughtful little details, like pet blankets and a well-stocked kitchen that was a delight to cook in. Our only bummer moment was not finding any kayaks on the property. The description suggested kayaks would be available starting mid-June, so we only brought one kid kayak, and left our adult one at home. Next time we'll think to confirm ahead of time! Overall a really lovely home in a sweet neighborhood near a great beach -- it was such a treat.

Loved staying at this place with my wife and two boys. It was absolutely immaculately clean, was well equipped, and had lots of style with many fun little quirks. From the 80s movie posters to the jukeboxes with tons of good music to the skylights that looked up into the redwoods above, it was delightful inside. Then it was a quick walk to the river and a short drive to downtown Guernville with all its fun shops and good restaurants. We hope to stay here again soon!

What a find!!! Our stay was absolutely perfect!!! Gorgeous house, beautiful yard, perfect inside space, incredible details, and SO. MANY. AMENITIES!! We didn't even get to use everything! There are activities for everyone, from arcade machines to yoga mats to horseshoes to giant connect four. It's a super quick walk to the beach, and the house had everything we needed, including a wagon! We borrowed the kayak and paddled around, listened to the super fun jukebox, bathed the kids in the gorgeous bathtub, relaxed in the giant kitchen/living room space, and had every kitchen gadget imaginable to cook. The beds were super cozy, the neighborhood was quiet and safe, the house was so beautifully maintained. It was truly the perfect home away from home. I regret not staying longer!! Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

This is probably one of the best airbnbs that I have stayed in. It had everything I would want in a place to stay, clean, cozy, and so many amenities. River access was very easy and close by. Downtown Guerneville is a quick walk or drive. The place is decorated very intentionally and with good quality furniture, linens, etc. The kitchen was EXCEPTIONALLY well stocked with all of the cookware you would ever need and more. Everything was labeled. TVs in every room. The jukeboxes were a very nice and unexpected benefit that we enjoyed. All of this made it such a great get away. I see that others said it was a crowded neighborhood and that you were on top of your neighbors - I didn’t find this to be an issue at all. We felt like we had plenty of privacy. Yard was well fenced-in, which we also appreciated for our pup. There was a fire pit, lots of furniture on the periods, horseshoes in the yard, a hose outside to wash our feet when we came back from a day on the river. Excellent.

This house was an amazing space for a family getaway: clean, stylish, and full of fun touches like a retro jukebox in the kitchen and plenty of games. The place matched the photos and description, and we loved the feeling of peace among the redwoods. Though the main part of Guerneville isn't really walking distance, it was a quick drive away, and the house is close to some great wineries, the river, parks, and other outdoor things to do. As other reviews stated, you are definitely close to neighboring houses, but for us this wasn't an issue. Overall highly recommend the place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay. The kayaks and ping pong table were mega hits! We also played several of the available board games. So nice to gather together at the table and enjoy each other’s company. The river was a super short walk and the surrounding redwood trees were spectacular! The house was very well equipped. Our party of 4 adults, 2 tweens, and 2 dogs had an excellent time staying at Dhyana over the July 4th holiday. Our goal was to escape the fireworks madness that happens every year in SF while showing our visiting family members all there is to see in Sonoma County. While the location was perfect to do just that, no one wanted to leave the house because it fit *all* of our needs so perfectly. We really appreciated the easy, uncrowded river access within walking distance of the house - there’s a sign posted that says the access is for “residents only” - loved that! Also loved that the house is surrounded by freakishly tall and beautiful redwood trees, the use of the kayaks, the fire table, the smart TVs, the ping pong table and arcade games, the fenced-in yard, the grill… The welcome basket filled with treats was inhaled by the kids within 24 hrs of our arrival. That plus the S’Mores were a special touch that did not go unnoticed. The house is very nicely furnished, but not so pristine that we didn’t feel comfortable lounging around. I really enjoyed the neighborhood - it’s dense with houses that were all occupied for the holiday weekend, yet it never felt incredibly noisy or busy. Most people respected the quiet hours, with the exception of an occasional loud talker or leaf blower. The agency was really great to work with and very proactive with communication leading up to our arrival. I needed their help with a couple of issues and they responded within the hour. The only downsides to the house were that the downstairs bathroom is not as nicely furnished as the one upstairs - still impeccably clean, just not as swanky - and that the walls are thin. But those things really do pale in comparison against our experience overall with this house. As a local, I would not hesitate to stay in here again, or rent a listing from this agency in the future. We had an excellent time and I’m already thinking about when would be a good time to return.

This place shows even better than the pics (which is saying something); the host has thought of everything you might need and then some nice personal touches as well (welcome basket, arcade games, monogrammed pet beds, mugs and eye masks). The moment you pull into the fenced yard and close the gate, you feel like you’re in your own little piece of the woods. The space is great (there were only two adults and two pooches on my trip) but you can easily accommodate a few couples. There are plenty of nooks to hide away in and tons of deck space to enjoy the setting. The neighborhood is very quiet and a short walk to the river makes it easy to leash the pooches and take a leisurely stroll. The kitchen has everything you might need to make a meal and there is ample seating inside and out. If you’re looking for a nice change of scenery, this is definitely worth checking out. There are so many skylights, it constantly reminds you to look up and take in the canopy. An absolutely great retreat that is thoughtfully appointed and super cozy.

If you are looking for a fun filled house in Guerneville right next to the Russian River and the amazing downtown, look no further. This house has everything to keep you entertained both indoors and outside. We were there during particularly hot weather, but the whole house kept cool with its windows, shade, and provided fans. They even let us use their Kayaks to spend some time rowing on the river. This was one of our favorite airbnb stays and we can't wait to stay again.

This place was such a treat and worked great for two families with preschoolers. Just like the pictures, the house has all the charm of a cozy cabin but with lots of fun touches and comforts. We especially enjoyed the little game room/office that kept the kids within a few steps of the living area but gave them their own space to play. The neighborhood Cozy Cove beach was a short walk and nice place for river rookies to spend an afternoon. It felt safe with kids and seemed like a great kayak put in spot. We wish we’d stayed longer and hope to be back soon!

This place is exactly as pictured. The place was modern and comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need including an air fryer and ninja bender. The rooms and beds were comfy. The entire house has skylights where you could see the redwoods. The place was close to town and less than two minutes away from the river. We would come visit again.

Really nice house in a really good location. Minutes to town. Short walk to river. Clean, well equipped, nicely decorated. No complaints whatsoever. Only one suggestion: A kayak caddy. Carrying them to the river is not easy.

Two friends and I stayed for a couple nights at Dhyana and it was even better than advertised. Location was great: 5 min drive from town, 20 min walk. and the property is very well cared for. I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and had just about everything I needed to do some baking during my visit. The arcade games were fun, as were the two jukeboxes. <br/><br/>The property management company was excellent. I usually never have to call a management company with issues but I did this time because I was having a problem getting the heater on the deck lit (there's two outside heaters, a column + the fire table). The property team was super helpful getting it running with me, they clearly knew the house inside out.<br/><br/>Everyone agreed we'd gladly rent this property again. We loved it.

Situated under tall redwood trees, this home is beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for a girls weekend. It has a nice gas fireplace that does a great job of keeping the house warm, plenty of deck space to lounge or cook out, and it’s a short drive into Guerneville or Bodega Bay. The best thing about this house are the mattresses. They are perfect!

Our family of 5 & our dog enjoyed this beautiful, relaxing home filled with entertainment. The kids (ages 11 to 16) spent lots of time playing ping pong in the downstairs play room or in the upstairs arcade room. We all enjoyed board games as a family as well as the views of the trees from the multiple skylights. On dry days, we also enjoyed the outdoor games & large yard. Be mindful that the home has multiple levels/stairs. Families with very young children can still enjoy the main level after helping their littles get up the stairs. The kitchen is well stocked if you want to cook/ bake. Or, you can pick up yummy family size heat/serve dinners at The Farmhand to let someone else do the cooking. The home is walking distance to the river & downtown. !

A wonderful spot! Newly fixed up and designed, they clearly put a lot of thought into everything. Super fun game assortment. Fully stocked kitchen. Lovely neighborhood in Guerneville. Short walk to the river with access points, though not very beachy. I’d stay here again!Keep in mind that there’s no central heating. There’s a fireplace in the main room and plenty of space heaters, but it’s difficult to maintain a constant temp at night, which can be tough with small kids.

The space was great for our family. We were able to spread out and enjoy the well-equipped kitchen and the location is really beautiful

Loves this Airbnb! They have so many fun games and I loved our welcome basket. Super nice touch. Host replied right away when I would message and they were very accommodating. Definitely recommend this place!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Dhyana. Everything was so clean and beautifully decorated. Everything that we could need was provided. Our kids and grandkids were there for a couple of days and didn’t want to leave. So much to do and see.
