Ten minutes from Armstrong Forest which was definitely less crowded and more impressive than Muir Woods. 45 minutes from Sonoma too! The house was clean and comfortable. The beds and blankets almost made us not want to get up. Not to mention the fact that you are literally IN the redwoods. The hot tub was fully taken advantage of after long days of walking through the redwoods. The only thing I would say negatively is how close the houses are to each other. However, no one was really around and it was so quiet at night, you could hear a pin drop. It was all around amazing and I would highly recommend.

The house is in a great neighborhood, which although populated, still felt very peaceful, private and quiet. The house was well stocked with everything we could have needed to enjoy our stay, including toys to entertain the kiddos, and a playground down the street. We ended up extending our stay by a few days because this was such a great space to hang in!

Charming Wood Chalet

The location of the home was a convenient distance to both the Pacific and the wineries. <br/>The home was comfortable and makes the best use of window to gain great views of the woods. <br/>We did have some difficulties with limited clothe storage and basically lived out of our suit case. Although this home has 3 bedrooms the closets within the ground floor bedroom were not available for our use. Lastly, the walk up the to the front door includes a 36 step climb and should be a consideration for those planning a stay.
An amazing hidden gem

We were a bit skeptical when entering the neighborhood that it would be noisy but we never heard anything and our trip was very quiet. So close to Armstrong redwoods and a short drive to beaches. Don't buy spices there is plenty! Even whole nutmeg.

We hiked in the Armstrong Reserve, zip lined with Sonoma Zipline Adventures, and played lots of games. We couldn't have been more comfortable.

The state park was also an easy 5 minute drive away and well worth it! The house itself is in great shape, we chose not to pull a car in the driveway luckily there is parking along the road. I would suggest adding curtains or blinds to the bedroom windows for more privacy.

Modern redwood gem with a great kitchen and forest view

Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Would recommend, and return. <br/><br/>The only quibbles: noise carries through the thin bedroom doors quite easily (we could hear full conversations happening in the upstairs bedrooms while sitting in the living room). And with no A/C, it would have been nice if all the bedroom windows had screens and there was a fan for each bedroom.

We enjoyed the hot tub in the woods, the fun board games that were available, the well set kitchen! Our little toddler loved playing with the toy kitchen and all the kid books! I would highly recommend, and would definitely want to come back here! My only suggestion for the hosts would be to turn up the heat more before guest arrival. It was quite chilly and took a few hours for the place to warm up the first evening

The home was sparkling clean and very well maintained. The kitchen was better stocked than our one at home. A full range of spices and kitchen tools. Our 3 y.o. granddaughter even had her own mini-kitchen to use to help us with dinner. The hot tub was so great at the end of the day. To sit back and look up at the towering redwoods above was truly unique. The location was ideal. So close to the Armstrong Redwood preserve, close to wineries. The neighborhood was very quiet and offered a surprise during an after-dark walk with so many homes lit up at night with special lighting features. Management was very responsive to our one request. We would gladly return.

The home is immaculately clean. Each room had it's own bathroom which was a great convenience for our group. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable, the linens and towels were very good quality. The host was very responsive and answered all our questions. There were clear instructions for the home and for check in/out. Overall, a great location and a beautiful home.
