The home is immaculately clean. Each room had it's own bathroom which was a great convenience for our group. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable, the linens and towels were very good quality. The host was very responsive and answered all our questions. There were clear instructions for the home and for check in/out. Overall, a great location and a beautiful home.

The Wood Chalet was perfect for a Northern California adventure my best friend and I took. The location was excellent too. Ten minutes from Armstrong Forest which was definitely less crowded and more impressive than Muir Woods. 45 minutes from Sonoma too! The house was clean and comfortable. The beds and blankets almost made us not want to get up. Not to mention the fact that you are literally IN the redwoods. The hot tub was fully taken advantage of after long days of walking through the redwoods. The only thing I would say negatively is how close the houses are to each other. However, no one was really around and it was so quiet at night, you could hear a pin drop. It was all around amazing and I would highly recommend.

The Wood Chalet provided our family with a wonderful and comfortable stay, as well as total convenience being located just a few minutes' drive from Guerneville and the Russian River. The house is in a great neighborhood, which although populated, still felt very peaceful, private and quiet. The house was well stocked with everything we could have needed to enjoy our stay, including toys to entertain the kiddos, and a playground down the street. We ended up extending our stay by a few days because this was such a great space to hang in!

Really enjoyed the time here with my friends! The location is nice because it's such a short drive from town, and it's really quiet. Loved having the hot tub and 3 bathrooms. The home was stocked with all the basic kitchen essentials to cook up breakfast for everyone. The place was fairly clean, although I'd prefer an additional go around to get the floors cleaner and grime from the showers. <br/>Overall, really enjoyed the time there.

We had a great experience in the woods and enjoyed the quaint setting within the Sequoias. The location of the home was a convenient distance to both the Pacific and the wineries. <br/>The home was comfortable and makes the best use of window to gain great views of the woods. <br/>We did have some difficulties with limited clothe storage and basically lived out of our suit case. Although this home has 3 bedrooms the closets within the ground floor bedroom were not available for our use. Lastly, the walk up the to the front door includes a 36 step climb and should be a consideration for those planning a stay.

We found this place by accident and couldn't have been happier. Tucked away in the trees gave us the reset we needed. Absolutely perfect and we WILL be back. And the restaurant at the end of the road had some of the best BBQ we have ever had.

This is a lovely cabin in the woods. We were a bit skeptical when entering the neighborhood that it would be noisy but we never heard anything and our trip was very quiet. So close to Armstrong redwoods and a short drive to beaches. Don't buy spices there is plenty! Even whole nutmeg.

The house is beautiful and nestled in the trees. It is so quiet there. We spent a marvelous spring break with our adult children. We hiked in the Armstrong Reserve, zip lined with Sonoma Zipline Adventures, and played lots of games. We couldn't have been more comfortable.

We had family visiting from Tulsa and we absolutely love the Rio Nido area so we wanted to share the experience. Everyone had an amazing experience at this rental. Having separate bathrooms was a huge hit! Gorgeous home with all the amenities we could need.

Close to downtown Guerneville, several wineries, Redwood Forest and an less than an hour from the coast. Private hot tub was wonderful. Place was clean and bright. Nice room layout for couples or families.

The Wood Chalet was a truly lovely place to host my out of town parents and show them a lesser-known, but beautiful, part of California. It was quite comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, and the surroundings were beautiful. Extra props for dinner out on the deck and the hot tub out back.

Beautiful, clean and very homey house. There was everything there that we wanted for a weekend getaway. The beds were very very comfortable. The pellet stove kept the house warm and cozy. We would definitely go back again!

The house is tucked back in a neighborhood within Rio Nido with a nice walk if desired to the local restaurant and pub. The state park was also an easy 5 minute drive away and well worth it! The house itself is in great shape, we chose not to pull a car in the driveway luckily there is parking along the road. I would suggest adding curtains or blinds to the bedroom windows for more privacy.

Modern, clean, lovely house in a cozy redwood canyon. Best part of the stay: the expansive redwood views out the tall front windows. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Would recommend, and return. <br/><br/>The only quibbles: noise carries through the thin bedroom doors quite easily (we could hear full conversations happening in the upstairs bedrooms while sitting in the living room). And with no A/C, it would have been nice if all the bedroom windows had screens and there was a fan for each bedroom.

We loved our stay at the wood chalet! The hosts were very thoughtful. We enjoyed the hot tub in the woods, the fun board games that were available, the well set kitchen! Our little toddler loved playing with the toy kitchen and all the kid books! I would highly recommend, and would definitely want to come back here! My only suggestion for the hosts would be to turn up the heat more before guest arrival. It was quite chilly and took a few hours for the place to warm up the first evening

The place was a great escape into a more natural redwood setting. We were surrounded by beautiful redwoods and the place itself was so clean and modern and very comfortable. The beds were surprisingly so comfortable. So close to downtown Guerneville and what the location has to offer.

The Wood Chalet was a perfect fit for our family of 6. We all had our spaces and enjoyed the terrific views out our windows. The home was sparkling clean and very well maintained. The kitchen was better stocked than our one at home. A full range of spices and kitchen tools. Our 3 y.o. granddaughter even had her own mini-kitchen to use to help us with dinner. The hot tub was so great at the end of the day. To sit back and look up at the towering redwoods above was truly unique. The location was ideal. So close to the Armstrong Redwood preserve, close to wineries. The neighborhood was very quiet and offered a surprise during an after-dark walk with so many homes lit up at night with special lighting features. Management was very responsive to our one request. We would gladly return.
