If you are seeking some solo solitude, a romantic getaway or a family adventure, look no further. This location, Vino Velo, is close enough to Guerneville to get groceries, eat well or go to Johnson Beach. But not too close as to take you out of the fantasy of being in the woods. The photos are true to the actual property and I had an amazing solo trip with my dog. It was just what we needed and I hope to return sooner than later

Kids absolutely loved the game room and it gave mom and dad a nice break during the evening to get dinner on the table. Kitchen is fully stocked and then some. Quite heaters in every room and a fireplace in the living room keeps the house nice and cozy. Deck outside has everything you need, BBQ, seating, fire pit and hot tub. We had no issues while we were there and enjoyed the Armstrong State Park just a short drive away. Neighborhood is super friendly as well. House is completely stocked with everything you need for a dog, including kennel and dog bed and bowls. Just need to bring your furry baby and their food. However property is not fenced. Dog park just a very short walk away. Parking the car is a bit difficult because it really is a very small space, but we managed fine. Beds are VERY comfortable with plenty of pillows and the pull out couch was easy to work with and enjoyed by the kids as well. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property.

A perfect treehouse to use as a home base while exploring the Russian River area. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening and cuddled up in front of the stove heater another. Would definitely consider staying here again if there were just two or three of us and would recommend to a friend.

We enjoyed our stay at Vino Velo. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. There were limited cleaning supplies and a dishrag to wipe counters would be a good addition. The tub in the shower didn't drain well when we got there, but once I called, it was taken care of within a couple of hours and the shower was great once it was repaired.

A great property and location to enjoy some down time with friends. With a grill and hot tub, and some local wine picked up during the day, we couldn’t ask for anything more. From initial booking to departure, the operating team was responsive to every inquiry. No regrets!

It is a cute redwood cottage but needs the final level of care. The humidifier was leaking water all over the wood floor when we arrived. Maintenance was called and Bill came out Sunday night, and after 2 hours was able to fix it. All the house flashlights and battery candles were dead, and the other kitchen humidifier was full of water and needed to be poured out. The pots and pans need to be updated to be serviceable to cook, and there was NO COFFEE anywhere! All the cabinets are full of stuff, with no room to put your food items. For a quick weekend stay it might be ok, but if you want to cook it is not. The 17 steps up to the house are fine, but the road parking is not safe. We expect more from our VRBO rentals.

Wine Country to Coast was very accommodating for our last minute rental. We checked in seamlessly the same day we reserved the house. The house was as pictured on the website. Very clean, well stocked kitchen, and an accessible garage. The garage was great for storing our bikes. The driveway is steep and narrow, and just barely accommodated our mid size pick up truck. The neighborhood/street feels safe , but many of the other houses are unsightly. The rental was the nicest house on the street.

It rained the entire time we were there but we still enjoyed our stay very much. Puzzles books games & a hot tub. The houses are close together but the yard is private & it was very quiet so you wouldn’t even be able to tell. The kitchen was well stocked for anything you would need to make.

Great place to stay, had everything we needed, close to Northwoods Golf Course, river and not far from the beach. My wife and I have traveled to this area many times and staying in a rental property is by far the better option compared to a local hotel. When we return in the future, this rental will certainly be one of our options!

We loved this small but very well decorated home! The beds were SO comfortable and I loved the master bedroom high ceilings and morning light thru the green canopy. Kitchen had basic spices and oils which came in handy. Loved the deck and fire pit. Location was perfect too, 4 min drive to Guerneville. Only minus was the driveway was too small to park our small SUV so we had to park down the street but that was not a big deal.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was exactly as described, and we had no issues with anything. The hot tub was wonderful to relax in after a long day of exploring the area. We didn't cook much but the home provided all of the pots and pans and dishes we needed. We hope to come back again soon, maybe when its warmer to enjoy the river and the surrounding area.

Excellent place for a weekend get-away (2 moms, 2 kids and 2 teens). The game room was good entertainment. We enjoyed the bikes and hot tub, too! They provided snacks upon arrival and treats for our sweet, little 10-pounds Kings Charles Cavalier. Neighbors were friendly, too.

We took our three kids to this great cabin in Guerneville and had an amazing stay. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we had enough sleeping space for all 5 of us. The cabin is secluded so you feel totally taken away from the world which was nice. The game room was a huge plus for the kids. It poured raining but we made the best of it and did a couple of day excursions. The staff at Wine Country to Coast were so nice and patient. We called a couple of times with questions and everyone we spoke to was accommodating and kind. We can’t wait to go back when we have better weather!

I had a small group of teens and we had a wonderful time! The property management company were responsive and accommodating to our last minute request. There’s a lot to do from the game room, hot tub and relaxing in the cozy house. I made it clear the rules and quiet hours and the teens did not disappoint. We brought a piñata down to the dog park area and a few very friendly local people helped us secure it on a tree branch and laughed as we tried to break it open. We really enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our time at Vino Velo. The house was chock full of amenities and the property is well laid out. The place seems much larger than it is. The deck was my favorite feature and we spent most of the time BBQing and relaxing in the hot tub. The house was super clean and also way more modern than I expected, which was a nice surprise. We will definitely be staying again.

Pros: House was cute and has everything you could need. The game room in the garage was very neat plenty of activities to pass time. The deck was beautiful with wonderful furniture and hot tub. (Wish the hot tub was a little hotter) but still very pleasant. The views of the trees surrounding the area are pretty dawn till dusk. There is one parking spot and a over flow parking section only a two minute walk away from the house. The lighting and ambiance of the house is relaxing. The beach is almost less than 30 mins away which was convenient. Getting to the location was fairly easy as well. <br/>Cons: One bedroom had glass window doors that has a sheer see through curtain over it which isn’t very good for privacy had to makeshift some privacy with some towels. Some of the cookware seemed a little dirty but nothing we could easily reclean real quick. For us the staircase up to the front door wasn’t to much of a problem but unfortunately it would not be suitable for people who cannot get up stairs as there is no other way in that we could see at least. It is awfully close to the other neighbors that live there full time so you cannot be noisy after 930 so not good if you plan on celebrating late. <br/>

The cottage was cozy and comfortable with lots of amenities. Rio Nido is a nice little community in the Redwoods. We brought our large dog. There is not a yard, so be prepared to walk the dog to do its business. There was a fenced dog park just a 5 minute walk from the cottage. There was also a playground, a picnic area and mini golf, but it was raining so can't rate those. Our kids are 20 and 15 and we enjoyed the game room in the garage and the hot tub. I would hesitate to stay here with small kids because there is no dining table, only barstools for the island counter. The Rio Nido Roadhouse was within walking distance and would be awesome in the warmer months with its outdoor tables, food, drinks, large grassy area and swimming pool. The food was decent but it was a bit chilly sitting outside, even with the propane heaters. Guerneville is a short drive and has restaurants, small shops, art gallery, etc. One possible issue with the location of the cottage--it sits at the top of a rather steep, narrow road. If you have mobility issues it would be very hard to walk anywhere from the cottage. Even our SUV had troubles getting up the hill and the parking spot is very tight. If you bring a large vehicle it is better to park in the spot at the start of the court.

From the moment we walked in, we felt comfortable. We were two adults, two sixteen-year-olds, and one eleven-year-old. The beds and bedrooms were spacious.The youngest slept on the pull out couch and was very comfortable. We loved the decor (we are avid mountain bikers)! The game room in the garage area was used each day.The kitchen was well-stocked. There were even extra spices and miscellaneous items. We especially loved the coffee maker and espresso machine. Of the 4 nights we stayed, we used the grill nice to have that option! <br/> Now that we are home, we miss sitting outside on the patio/deck with a glass of wine by the fire in the still of the evening. The hot tub was also used each evening. It was so peaceful to sit and soak under the redwoods.

Vino Velo is a great rental for a couple or group of 4. The layout of the home is open and allows for everyone to relax and interact between the kitchen and family room (great furniture layout). It is decorated lovely both inside and out. The owners have thought of every detail.... expresso machine, wine aerator to the hot tub and fire pit. Having stayed in several rentals in the area I would say it is above the average. The one thing occupants need to be aware of is cell service was VERY limited (to non-existent) at the home even if Verizon is your carrier. The home does have internet and you can connect to it. If you are looking to disconnect ... then no problem. Would recommend to a friend and would return. Management company was great to work with too - no problems/hassles. Provided great information about the area - attractions, restaurants, etc.

Vino Velo is amazing. My husband and I were in town for an IRONMAN race and wanted to stay a little between the start and finish. Vino Velo was the perfect location and near Guerneville which is the cutest little town. The host were perfect, the house was even prepared and ready for our arrival. Nice touches having the basket of snacks, for once a fridge that had items needed and the bathrooms had the perfect essentials. The highlight of course was the hot tub and the grill outside were we got to cook our dinners instead of eating out every night. We had a wonderful trip and will def be back!

Our family was interested in visiting the region above San Fransisco with our two kids and grandma who joined us from Minnesota. The various sites did a great job at highlighting the beauty of the Russian River. I came across VinoVelo and was sold both for its size, convenience, comfort and the fact that it had a few games to entertain the kids on some down time. We were super pleased with the home. It met all our needs, it was clean, comfortable and had great kitchen amenities for cooking and convenient proximity to everything . We had a wonderful stay at Vino Velo (two couples) great place to share meals and friendship amongst the redwoods , after a day on the river canoeing we found the hot tub to be most peaceful and a great relaxing tools for us busy Bay Are folks , this rental was clean, well stocked with kitchen supplied to prepare any meal, the surrounding neighbor hood is very quite, redwoods trees all around.
