Great location - centrally located and within walking distance to the river and most shops which is great because I don't drive. Communication was EXCELLENT from the beginning. I cancelled reservations at a local hotel because the experience and lack of communication was awful, leading me to this wonderful spot. The space felt like home and the kitchen had all the utensils, cookware and dishes we needed to prepare meals. The beds were super comfy, ping pong was fun for the kids and adults alike and you can see the stars at night - a bonus for this City girl. The price was sooooo worth it for the large space, quiet and privacy. I would, definitely, book again!

We were so happy to find this gem for a friend gathering and special event in Guerneville. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The living room was a great gathering space, as was the front porch, backyard and downstairs game room! The home felt spacious and the multiple bathrooms were a plus. The beds were comfortable and fans in each room definitely helped to cool off during the day. The location is ideal. Walking distancing to everything including all of our favorite coffee shops and restaurants. Stacey was a great host and I especially appreciated that the property management went out of their way to drop by a goodie bag of dog treats! I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning.

I was burnt out with Omicron news and fluster, and needed to find the redwoods. Looked to Russian River and was lucky to find the perfect place available. My three children loved the game room and downstairs set up, and my husband and I had the upstairs to ourselves. We came together for a movie and dinner upstairs and went down for popcorn and ping pong. It was a cold and foggy weekend and perfect to be toasty and warm at the Happy Days property. We even slipped in a bike ride to Armstrong Woods, which also underscored how accessible everything was from this house! It was walking distance to anything you could possibly want.

The home is very nice and the pictures are pretty accurate. Location is great and easy walk to the town with lots of good places to eat or just get coffee. There is a nice grocery store there too. Near by the Armstrong Redwoods State Reerve, which is just beautiful and really required for a visit. We were staying there for our daughter's wedding (held nearby) and for that event, we could have used a few mirrors! Only one bathroom has a over-the-sink mirror and there was one in a bedroom. Hangars were minimal (we left a few). Overall the home was comfortable, the kitchen well appointed. It would be a nice place to stay in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay. Awesome location just a few blocks from all the main stores, shops and restaurants in Guernville. We walked to the coffee shop every morning. The house felt larger than the photos showed and the yard and extra game room downstairs added an even more spacious feel. The three bathrooms with showers were very convenient for multiple families sharing the house. The rooms were comfortable except that one room had a loud air conditioner unit with windows that didn't open. The beds were very comfortable except for the large overstuffed pillows. All in all, the house was very cute and had exactly what we needed for a relaxing vacation. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location and ease of going up to Main Street and walking to Johnson’s Beach. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was small, but sufficient, and the kids enjoyed their separate space with the ping pong and popcorn maker.

The house is great and right in town. Though you don’t have a cabin the woods the feeling. The accessibility to the bars, restaurants, and grocery stores more than makes up for it.

As others said, very clean, comfy, accommodating for extended family. Good kitchen so very nice for a family group. Just a short walk to an active downtown, shops, groceries. Easy check-in and nice, responsive hosts. For us the fenced yard was great as our children are 4 and 6. Only negative was we were there during the algae bloom, so river quite uninviting. Fortunately the coast is very close so we switched from river to ocean. Beautiful. Check out July 2021 reviews which covered lots of good info about the house, town and things to do.

Our family enjoyed our stay because the (1) main room is so inviting and welcoming, (2) my kids enjoyed the game room - it has a ping pong table, 2-3 board games, popcorn machine , (3) backyard cornhole game and lemon and apple trees, (4) the kitchen supplies were so perfect/useful (we cooked every meal). The property is probably 1970s so don’t expect a fancy place - it’s a simple place. The main/first floor is very cozy and comfortable. To reach the 2nd floor you have to go outside and down one flight of stairs and unlock a door to the garage and unlock another door to the 2nd floor. The downstairs bedroom attaches to the game room is very large/oversized and has an older, darker basement-type feel to it vs the brighter cozier first floor. The location is excellent in terms of being walkable to the downtown foodie scene, Safeway, Johnson’s beach (R2T2 river rentals rentals is right near there for large fancy inner tubes single and double OR you can rent SUPs/kayaks/simple tubes straight off the beach - remember to book a “spot” at Johnson’s beach because it’s a private beach), it’s a 15 minute drive to the end of the russian river/ocean and go to Watertreks if you want to rent kayaks to see seals, and a 15 minute drive to a paved bike trail in Sonoma. It wasn’t a loud location for us on the weekdays. There are a lot of nice LGBTQ folk frequenting the r3 hotel a half block away but it wasn’t too loud for us. There are quite a few drifters and homeless folks in the downtown area. We had a great time at Stace’s place!

This house is fantastic. Plenty of room to stretch out. The ping-pong table and popcorn machine were great. The back yard area off the game room is quite large and there’s a great barbecue and we had a wonderful outdoor dinner. There is room to play games outside on the paved backyard area and there is a nice deck off the kitchen. Checkin was a breeze and the decor was all very nice and everything felt practically brand new. It does get warm during the hot summer days upstairs but decent breeze with windows open and the fan on. While I do think in general this was expensive, every place on the Russian river is pricy because this is a very popular area and is only going up so the price is not unreasonable but don’t expect a luxury rental either. But is all was very nice. Absolutely great location for our group because we walked downtown a lot. But some noise at night on busy weekends which was fine with us. Overall we were very happy with our selection and would definitely recommend this location and this host. Thank you!

Loved being able to walk downtown Guerneville and enjoy all the shops and restaurants. No problem with parking...we were able to fit 2 cars in the garage and one in the driveway.

We had a great stay celebrating my daughter's 16th. The set up was perfect for her and her friends. The kids could hang out downstairs and I had the rest of the house to myself most of the time. It was a great location for them to be able to walk everywhere they wanted to go. The only thing I wish is that it had a fridge downstairs, and since there's a milkshake machine, an ice cream scoop would be nice. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at this property. It was walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown, and also to Johnson’s beach which was great with kids. The only downside of the property was that the downstairs area was extremely creaky whenever people were walking upstairs, which made sleeping with the kids a bit challenging. Property management was very responsive and helped us out with an issue that arose during our stay. Property was well maintained with all the necessary amenities, and the cornhole and ping-pong table was a plus. fun times!

The house was spotless and the description on VRBO was accurate. This house is a very short walk to downtown and only 2 minutes from a great coffee shop and book store. The beds are comfortable, the towels are large, soft and plentiful. We were 4 adults in the area to attend a family wedding. We especially enjoyed the upper porch/deck in the back because there were both sunny and shady spots to sit. The living room and dining area had plenty of space for us and when we had two additional visitors. NOtE: There are stairs from the street to the front door with railings.

The location of this house is very convenient. It is less than five minutes to a lovely coffee shop and just a few steps more to the downtown area. It is less than a ten minute drive to Armstrong Woods. <br/><br/>The house was spotlessly clean. A generous amount of soft and good quality towels are provided along with some mini containers of shampoo and such.<br/><br/>The kitchen is well equipped. There are three outdoor areas including a front porch, a back porch and a fenced in yard with a grill and picnic table.<br/><br/>Teens would love the downstairs area which in kids not only a bedroom and bath but a large room with a ping pong table and a popcorn maker.<br/><br/>Beds and pillows were comfortable, living room area is a nice place to gather with a comfy sofa and four chairs. <br/><br/>

The coolest part of the house is the location! We were super easy access to river where we kayaked down the river and had a blast. Walking distance to all the best cafes, restaurants, short drive to Stumpton brewery. The house itself was very spacious, clean, FUN, and had all the party perks. We would play ping pong while we cooked our tri tip on the grill, chilled on the front patio and people watching, or watched the NBA finals in the massive loungy living room. I liked how all the bathrooms were spaced out in different parts of the house so everyone had lots of privacy. Can't wait to go back to this house.

This was a wonderful spot for our family. My kids LOVED the house and amenities. And we appreciated the well-supplied kitchen, clean linens, and amazing location. It was the perfect house for our much-needed "change of location" for a few days, during quarantine. The property manager was so kind and helpful. They addressed our minor needs immediately with grace. I would recommend this property to a friend. We easily accessed the river, hiked along the beach, ate amazing home-cooked meals, and bought TOO much wine :)

We had 3 kids with us and they loved the downstairs game room (ping-pong) and that they all slept together with the 3 beds downstairs too. We loved the top floor too. Kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and liked that there were 2 bathrooms and washer dryer. The outdoor area was nice. We used the grill. We played cornhole. The lights weren't working and it was an easy text to the manager and they sent someone to fix them.<br/>We walked around the town and liked the shops and art galleries. Gypsy was my favorite store (across from Safeway). All is in walking distance-- no need to drive. Our dogs liked everything too except that Johnson beach at the Russian River (5 min walk) does not allow dogs (!?!?!?!) so we never went to the river. We drove 20 minutes to the coast (Jenner) and best beach (allows dogs) is Blind Beach. We loved shopping at the little town Duncan's Mills (between house and Jenner). Jenner has a great place on the river Cafe Aquatica-- great clam chowder-- but mainly it's a coffee shop> next door is a wine/beer outdoor bar. Outdoor seating along the river is really nice.<br/>

We went out for coffee every morning and had great BBQ's every night. Being able to reserve a spot at Johnson's beach made it very convenient for us. Happy days was exactly what we had. we had 9 girls total and with the sofa it was just right. The house was big enough not to feel crowded at all. The beds were comfortable and the game room was where we spent most of the house time. You are seconds away from the Appy room and R3. 2 blocks from the main drag and 3 from the beach. safeway and everything is pretty much at your fingertips. The office staff was pleasant and helpful. I have already recommended this location to a few people. <br/>I would have liked to see more kitchen items (big bowls for cooking) other than that no real complaints. <br/>

My friends and I (8 people) enjoyed our stay at Happy Days. We grilled, hung out in the backyard, cooked in the kitchen, played ping pong, etc. The location is super convenient, right downtown. The rental was clean and in great condition. Would definitely recommend staying here.<br/><br/>One thing to keep in mind is that the lockbox is not the one right by the front door, it's the one on the white post. Caused a bit of confusion in the beginning but the property manager was very responsive and helpful.
