While the price was higher than I planned to spend, my stay was SO worth every penny! Not only was the house exactly as described, amenities amazing and all – but Stace thought through all the details of what guests will need and more. Upon arrival everything was all set up and ready to be enjoyed. I loved being able to cook (in a fully stocked kitchen), hot tub under the redwoods, and try all the cozy seating areas for drawing, reading, working, cuddling by the fireplace. Bed was very comfortable and shower pressure/temp perfect, something I don't usually expect in the woods. My dog loved finding his favorite spots to lay in the backyard, and we both loved being able to access the river and great cafes nearby. One thing to note is that you are very close to your neighbors (though the place still feels private). Come ready to rest, rejuvenate in majestic redwoods! Will return for a future getaway!

Wash/Dryer stocked w laundry deterg. couch comfy. Super quiet and peaceful. Dogs allowed at Monte Rio Beach approx 5min drive. look for the bridge. Management very helpful and responsive<br/>Con-missed lovers ln turn 3x (coming from Rt 1 toward Gureneville), sign hard to see in shade, looks like a driveway. Very narrow posted 10mph speed limit, takes 8-10min to get to house so get yur food/whatevers before you get there. lower parking for house is before the address/steep driveway-tiny little green sign. String lights stay on all the time. i prefer dark at nite to see the stars whilst in the Hottub. Amstrong Rdwds doesnt allow doggos on trails so go to monte rio redwoods for nice hikes. I left a map. No AC so hot nights cook the upstairs main bdrm. Fans provided. A bit dark in the cellar so bring your phone/flashlight to see wash/dry controls a bit better. <br/>Not complaining, just stuff to be aware of. Had a great time hiking, weather was perfect temp to hike in the Redwoods. And was warm/sunny if we went to river but didn't get the chance. Overall, a nice relaxing trip. The neighbor is super friendly and had a great time chatting.
Lovely Retreat

The kitchen was well appointed, bed was comfortable, shower worked well. It's located in a remote area that takes about 10 minutes of 10 MPH roads and the parking spot is not easy to find, but once we figured out where we needed to park, it was fine. We were challenged by the number of stairs both inside and outside, but we're old.

A comfy little slice of heaven.

The backyard is very nice with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the outside. It was raining during our stay but that didn't stop us from using a hot tub. Which was fantastic. I would recommend this place to anybody that was looking for a quiet place to get away. Kitchen's a little small, but you can find everything you need. The beds are really comfortable. Nice warm blankets and plenty of them if you should want more. The House was really clean. The road to it is very narrow and the driveway is really steep, but luckily there's two extra parking spots just to the right.

This place is even better than the photos. The sprawling deck in the backyard is perfect—easily the best outdoor space of any place I’ve stayed in the Russian River. The hot tub under the redwoods was heaven on earth. Don’t hesitate to book this cabin.
