Home had plenty of space to spread out and we slept well listening to waves crash in super comfortable beds. Responsive and clear communication from our host with great binder of information about local beaches, dog friendly places and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again

Lovely and Relaxing Location

It has most of what we needed although a little extra attention to details would have been nice (missing coffee pot carafe, only one towel per person, no napkins or cooking oil, full outdoor trash cans upon arrival, etc.).

Sorry your stay was not perfect. This home usually only gets rave Reviews. Our paperwork states 1 towels and 1 hot tub towel per person. There is a washer and dryer on site but you were there for 2 days, so not sure why that was an issue. Everything we provide is in your paperwork, Paper towels, TP, Laundry detergent. basic spices. If you ever find an issue we are only 10 minutes away and we ask you to call us. I am not sure why that did not happen. Strange.

The house and the studio facilities gave us space to relax and unwind. The quiet neighborhood was a pleasant surprise. <br/><br/>The house and studio were enjoyable and well cared for. Since we are senior citizens and have bad knees, we found the toilets and couches a little low. <br/><br/>We found the elevated deck a great plus, since there is a great view of the shoreline north of the house.<br/><br/>Overall, I would recommend Bodega Breeze to family and friends as a place to stay when visiting the Bodega Bay area.

Reviewed on 2025-01-12 by Jami M. , Walnut Creek, CA United StatesWe chose this property for a celebration of our daughter’s 18th birthday with a small group of her friends primarily because of the amazing location and the second cottage. This house was immaculately clean and everything in it is fresh and new, which was very nice. The second house on the property was quite spacious, and had everything the girls needed for a comfortable stay. <br/>If I could give any feedback, I would say that, as the listing says it accommodates eight people, it would have been nice to have had enough blankets, towels, and dishes for eight people. We all had to share bath towels (none were provided for the hot tub, either) and I found myself having my morning coffee out of a Pyrex measuring cup. There were also only four or five chairs at the dining room table, so my husband and I ended up squatting in front of the fireplace to eat our meals. Smaller pillows would have been much appreciated, as well. I understand the owners were probably going for big luxurious bed pillows, but they were all so thick, that we all ended up with neck pain the next day. And as several others have mentioned, it’s a bit awkward not having curtains in the master bedroom. The large bay window looks right out to the main road, so we had to change our clothes in the bathroom. Instructions for the hot tub would’ve been nice, too. The hot tub was a bit chilly at 98°, and there didn’t seem to be any way of turning the temperature up. Of course, these are all just intended to be helpful thoughts, and we would absolutely return to this property and very much enjoyed our stay.

The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen was perfectly stocked to support our cooking and dining needs. We loved the fireplace too because it helped us kick the chill after being in the rain:) One note for a minor improvement would be to have slightly comfier furniture in the main living area. There was plenty of seating and room for playing games and visiting during our down time. The close proximity to the beach and dunes can’t be beat. Thank you Bodega Breeze for a wonderful week! We will be back!

Just paved from Salmon Creek Beach, this location is ideal for families with teens or adult children who can split the space: 1 unit has 1 bedroom, laundry, full kitchen and bath, main home has full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 1.5 baths. Open. Cozy. Stunning views.

It takes a few minutes to walk to the beach, which was a must for our family. It was equipped with everything we needed. Although it rained while we were there, we were able to go to the beach every day. The only thing that was missing was a mop to be easier to clean the floor when it is raining. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a secluded, quite and relaxing get-away.

We loved our stay here. Very peaceful and the sounds of the beach waves crashing were therapeutic. 100% would come back to stay at this gem and not too far from the city.When we arrived we were welcomed with a warm fire and cozy home. Thank you for that.
